I remember that run, that was really fun.

They’ve been pretty corporate since around 2016 but I feel like they stopped being so strict lately. The past few years have been fun, no major drama IIRC and they’ve gotten more chill in general.

I know Pyre is probably Supergiant’s worst game, but it was still damn good and very overlooked. Everyone should check it out, the story was really good. Also Epic gave it away for free once or twice, so check your library.

Sales follow the tradition of supply and demand. Products come out at their highest price because of expectations and hype. Then, as interest wanes, the publisher continues to make some sales by reducing price to tempt the less interested parties....

Any sort of fighting game if you’re planning to play online. It doesn’t matter how cheap Rivals of Aether or Street Fighter 6 is, if you’re not playing near release you’ll only be fighting against people with 500+ hours of experience.

UPDATE: Despite saying they were using SteamOS on the homepage, they’ve since clarified that it’s actually “an optimized version based on HoloISO”. HoloISO seems to be a community compiled version of SteamOS. It’s very similar but it’s not officially SteamOS....

Yeah… It looks great regardless but it’s quite different from the original helldivers. I’ll have to get used to not being able to see everyone on screen and the game being heavily balanced around friendly fire.

It just makes noooo sense to me that it can go up to 45 watts. I would be surprised if the battery drains from 100% in 20 minutes.

The MSI claw as a whole doesn’t seem to have any benefits to what already exists. It draws more power, is heavier than the ROG and Steam Deck, starts at $700… I guess the 120Hz screen is nice, but everyone knows you’ll barely hit 60 on any modern games.

The last time I felt the bridge between games like Spyro and “modern” times (I’m old) was Kameo.

Have you tried A Hat in Time? It really gave me the feeling of a really polished, modern PS2 game. It’s a ton of fun.

Probably bad news. Even though the newest intel chip is way better than the last one, it uses a lot more power than AMD meaning the battery and thermals will be worse.

It really sucks for everyone. Not only videos and important company data, reportedly the entire story of Wolverine was leaked and some people are posting spoilers for it. Now they’ll feel compelled to change it.

I hear a bit from my friends that really enjoy the game, they play whenever a new update is out but there doesn’t seem to be that much content or staying power compared to most MMOs.

I’m so excited for it, been following it ever since Garry Newman said he started working in source 2. It looks much more powerful than Gmod ever was. Too bad the way to get into the closed beta is a complete nightmare (you had to enter a raffle every day and have maybe a 1/700 chance of being selected)

I’ll be the first to buy it as long as they don’t mess up the monetization and turn it into something like Roblox. But I trust Newman, he hates that stuff as much as I do.
