Part of the appeal of Hades for me is how it forces you to learn how to fight with different combinations of weapons and modifiers, as well as how differently those weapons play.
Context: Aside from Marathon missing the mark on its early playtests and getting mediocre reviews, Bungie was caught copy/pasting stolen art into a lot of the game’s art and textures. The company is internally under fire.
Since the other person came in and tried to act cool or something by only caring about how it affects them (or doesn’t affect them?), I just want to put it out there that the OW team has been making lots of improvements to the game lately. The last patch added a new core game mode that has been pretty popular, along with a new hero, and they’ve reimplemented 6v6 which has been a complaint of a large portion of the playerbase since they went to 5v5 a few years ago.
So, contrary to that other person, I am happy for the OW team for unionizing, and I hope that Blizzard doesn’t do anything to stifle the progress that they have been making lately because they have now unionized.
I have an idea for a game: It’s the usual “a princess is kidnapped by a dragon and a brave knight is on a quest to rescue her” story. But you (the player) plays as the princess, who is somehow helping the knight on his quest....
Here’s some more Screenshots from Cyberpunk. Did you know this game had a photo mode, because i didn’t. It’s resulted in some pretty images such as this one of some holo-fish:...
I’ve sunk probably a thousand hours into Slay the Spire, have beaten Hades, and just finished Cult of the Lamb. Looking for something else to scratch that itch- preferably on switch. Any suggestions?...
I would call it a complete game that was finished a long time ago but has a passionate developer who provides free content updates. It’s definitely not a live service game, as there are no microtransactions and the updates are free.
I’ve played maybe 10 hours total of Overwatch 2 and it is incredibly boring (to me). But it seems to get lots of updates often, heavy monetization which sucks. The steam reviews are scalding. It really makes me wonder… is it that bad? Like really? It’s hard to gauge if the game is thriving or on deaath’s door…
I’ve always just dragged the cards rather than using successive taps. It’s pretty intuitive in my opinion. I would have never thought to call that a virtual mouse…
Deselecting a card without casting it can be a little tricky, but you can usually tap another card or something without causing an issue.
In that case you tap the card and it pops up to show the text. Still pretty intuitive. I guess if you’ve never played a deck building game or RPG it could be confusing?
The one aspect is slightly unintuitive, but mostly you tap and drag like you would on any mobile interface. There is no"virtual mouse" or anything crazy. It’s wild to me that people would be frustrated out of playing because of the interface.
Agreed, I gave up on beating gold stake when I would lose most of the runs on the first couple antes. I think it’s good to have a brutally difficult mode, I hope they didn’t go overboard on easing it up, but it was good to ease up a bit.
I liked Wildfrost, but it didn’t have that much replay value after 30 or so hours, whereas I have 500+ in StS. They have updated it since I last played though, so maybe there’s a bit more to do now?
Playing on the gold stake, I think I don’t make it past the first ante like 80% of the time. I might be too greedy or just bad at the game, but in StS I can make a decent run on ascension 20 at a much higher rate.
Slay the Spire is the gold standard for me, at least. I haven’t played Monster Train – it doesn’t look that appealing to me, but I’ve heard good things.
Seems fun maybe if they also add some other stuff to make the combat more interesting. It starts off looking promising then just doesn’t really go anywhere.
Yep, I actually own 7,255 games on Steam. I’ve played 23% of my library. I regret nothing.
Why do I play all these games? Because it’s important that they’re played....
Overwatch 2 slaps
First of all I know a lot of people don’t like this game so I’m not here to change anyone’s mind....

Game design question : how to make a "trapped" player character?
