Yeah. Sometimes we’re lucky and get a leak of the cancelled game. Happened with the War Craft adventure game. It was almost finished. And it was really mid. Maybe up to today’s Blizzard standards but not back then.
Valve have supposedly been experimenting with x86 emulation on ARM for their next VR headset. So I think they might actually be well on their way to enter that market. Probably with the plan of making PC games playable on Android.
Spoiler Act 3> There were two copies of Taming Hope: Part Two in the House of Hope. The second copy of that book has now rightfully been replaced with Taming Hope: Part Three.
Now that I think about it, the marvellous thing about BG3 isn’t just the acting of the main characters but of the minor NPCs as well. It shows an unprecedented attention to detail and love and care.
I think the only “bad” acting I encountered in the game was that one kid who was apparently voiced by one of the staff’s kids. And that’s only because the model looked too old, for which I suspect that the kid chose their own model.
