It has Platinum in ProtonDB for now. Definitely appears to be playable on Linux.

The gameplay looks fine. It looks like a Doom game. But I won’t buy a game with DRM, so I won’t be buying it until that gets removed (at earliest).

I tried to mod Cyberpunk 2077 and it was not a smooth experience. I first tried using Vortex in Bottles but it wouldn't run. I then tried to use ProtonUp-QT but couldn't figure out exactly what to do. I discovered that there's a new NNM AppImage that's early in development that works with Cyberpunk.

I'll have to try again in the future and figure out how ProtonUp-QT, ProtonTricks, Steam Tinker Launcher, etc.

I modded Cyberpunk 2078 and jumped straight to the NNM app, no issues. Running quite a few mods.

Whoops! Didn’t notice that typo. I wouldn’t even dream of subjecting my steam deck to the same 900 mods as my PC.

I want a law for PC games to be offered in physical versions again

Like can we make this a more vocal opinion that Triple-A studios/publishers are like legally required to offer a version… Or what is your take on that, especially if you have a similar opinion with a deviation in execution. let me know why if you dont agree too!...

Is there another meaning to “PSA” that isn’t “public service announcement”? It confuses me being in the title as this entire post is written as a suggestion / CTA, not a PSA.

I work full time at a computer. I have two jobs, so I put in 68 hours a week (second is 28 hours a week, no overlap).

I have no issues with eye fatigue best I can tell, that or I’ve just gotten so used to it. I will note I do have the blue light filter on my glasses lenses my optician recommended.

There are some great mobile games out there. A few of my favorites include Dawncaster and Slice & Dice. Personally when I’m looking for a new game I use www.darkpattern.games to check if they are exploitive.

I haven’t checked in a while, so they may have walked back on this, but supposedly we finally get coop in the next one.

I happened to be able to see the 2017 one and it was so impactful I saved the date and made sure I’d make it happen. Cut forward 7 years and here I am with most of my immediate family (I have 6 siblings so having most is impressive).

It is an experience that can’t be captured by any form of digital or physical media and my only way to describe it is - it’s the closest thing to magic I’ve ever experienced.

I plan on saving up and going overseas for one as well.

BG3 for me. It’s been a while since a game has captured me so much.

OP is not referring to private lobbies in a game, they are referring to marking a game private on Steam itself, a feature that hides from the world (and your friends) that you own or interact with a game.

help.steampowered.com/en/…/1150-C06F-4D62-4966

They’re basically asking if anyone who uses the feature has had the info leaked by Steam.

I just play while appearing offline, but that’s a good idea if I don’t want to be appearing offline and I don’t want my playtime to be visible to them lol.

To be fair, a lot of the game breaking launch bugs that hurt the game for me were with PVP (specifically, the instanced wars). I do know there were others but those PVP bugs are what I’ll always remember. The lag, the broken healing, the hatchet exploit, and a few others.

I always thought that part was interesting. I personally never had a downright toxic interaction in Eve Online and I used to multibox 7 accounts.

Was looking for this lol.

I bought a Rust ages ago, back when the development basically had it turning into a new game every year. Maybe I just got lucky back then, but never had a toxic interaction.

Cut to last year, when a group of guild members went to Rust so I redownloaded it after 5 years. Most of us only lasted a few hours and we tried half a dozen servers lol.

Those people just have not had the misfortune of playing Rust.
