People need to remember that fallout isn’t the last of Us or god of war, fallout is a cool series with a cool world, but it’s not a masterpiece of story telling and writing. These showrunners aren’t making Lord of the rings over here, it’s not gonna be hard to make a decent show based in an established world.
They’re keeping the aesthetic and design, so I’m happy. But so many people don’t have a nuanced opinion anymore, and a show is either a perfect 10 or it’s “unwatchable garbage”. I’ve seen and loved shows that I give a solid 8 to, but anything below a nine gets called “shit” these days.
Fallout is not a masterpiece of story telling or cinematography. It was written by non writers mostly. It’s not the godfather. It isn’t going to be hard for professional writers to make it work better than the games, and clearly they’re not fucking with the visual designs of the series.
I’ve been looking for fun wrestling video games and discovered Wrestling Empire, that ugly ass, janky game is fun as hell, even if it looks like a turd.
These could be games that left a lasting impression on you, games that had stellar gameplay mechanics, characters that captivated you, games that you played tons of hours on, etc.
I keep finding all these cool games and instantly get deflated when I find out they’re online. I want single player, i really don’t like playing with other people.
Just finished UNPACKING last night and it was so addictive. Before that I played forager which I loved, and before that I played the shit out of Dysmantle and Wytchwood. I love AAA games but there are some really great Indies out there
I’ve been saying this for a decade with Apple, and then with digital Games. I once lost some games I bought from my digital ps library, just vanished. I had deleted the purchase emails cause it was so long ago, and since they had no record of me owning them on my end, they won’t give them back. You could lose your entire game library that you’ve spent hundreds on, cause you unknowingly broke the terms, and now all your money is gone. At least with a hard copy, nobody is busting your door down and taking your discs. Also why do digital Games cost as much as discs, when they’re essentially leased, you saved the company manufacturing and shipping costs.
I played the Steam version of the base game, with no DLC. I did not play the Spacer’s Choice “remaster” as it has a reputation for being broken and poorly put together. I played the game to completion on normal difficulty, completing most of the side quests, spending time with all my companions, and trying to get the most...
I’ve been playing a ton of Cities Skylines II since its release a week ago. After building a 230k population archipelago I started playing around with the in game cinematic video tools and this is the result....
As far as I’m concerned the series is definitively over. 5 was the final. You don’t really need Kojima for remakes, just a team of good devs who love the series. But I also don’t trust Konami to pull that simple thing off. What is with the really bad “remake” ports from all the game companies in the last few years? Is it that hard to remake a game?
I played the main series and never played the side, PSP games like peace walker, so I was completely lost when playing 5. I was wondering what this setting and people were for a while, until I realized I had to go back and read up on peace walker.
Why even attempt AAA game with such a small budget/team size ratio?
It would have been a good game if they had cut the amount of developers and the scope of the game to fit the budget. I’ve recently tried smaller games like Dysmantle and they’re great, why not even pixel/FF style Lord of the rings game? That would be awesome and cost less
I just saw it on the PlayStation store on sale for like $50. May as well just give it away at this point and I still won’t play it, it’s silly they’re charging that much for it still, especially since the devs shut down
There are infinitely more accessibility settings and devices on the market now than there’s ever been. Ever. I get that not everyone is able to play, but the industry is leaps above what it was before.
I’m happy paying for psplus and enjoying the free monthly games and whatever games get uploaded there. Aside from that, my city has a great library with a huge selection of games you can borrow for 3-6 weeks at a time, plenty of time to finish them.
Pre orders aren’t even the biggest issue in gaming now, for me it’s game tiers, where a game releases with 3 different editions, with the most expensive one being like $150. Which means the actual game is $150 and the lower editions are just incomplete copies.
I can’t stand how people have no in between anymore. If a game isn’t a 10/10 it’s “dogshit” I’ve seen perfectly fine games with a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 being called “shit”, like come on now.
Sadly I’ll never get to enjoy it, I’m not gonna buy an Xbox just to play it. Really really stupid that we’re still doing exclusive games in 2023. I’m a PlayStation user literally wanting to give Bethesda my money, but they don’t want it.

Nintendo hasn’t even gotten a hold of being a game company in 2023. Maybe they should focus on catching up, as the switch has stagnated and the eshop is filled with trash
I hadn’t touched my switch in about 6 months before TOTK came out and haven’t touched it since I finished it. I notice I have been using my switch about as much as I used my Wii U. It’s more of a dedicated Mario Kart machine that I occasionally use for a AAA Nintendo game like Zelda or Mario, but it’s mostly just there for when I have friends over and we want to Mario Kart
The game was such a scam when it released that I refuse to ever play it, I really don’t care if it’s playable now, you can’t reward these scammers with your money and hope they fix it.
