It’s sickening how much people jerk this guy off cause he’s “a good billionaire”. There is no such thing as a good billionaire, they all got there by sealing from the workers below them. Steam workers aren’t allowed to unionize but Gabe gets to be a billionaire, fuck him.

I recently played fo4 with mods and over did it. I’m running around in power armor with infinite energy, with a crazy railgun, mowing down everything that moves. It got old fast. I’ll have to go back in with different mods that are more fun.

Hated the main character. The guy in part 1 was a vigilante out for blood. But the second, you’re some millennial, happy, hipster hacker. It makes no sense running around the city tearing shit up with the second protagonist

Part 2 is polarizing, half the people love it the other hate it. Part 3 is just trash, it’s the one I played last and barely remember any of it cause it was so bad

I didn’t like the protagonist in part 2. It made no sense to me, tearing through the city, blowing up shit, killing people, as this happy, hipster hacker. At least the first protagonist was a vigilante out for blood, so the carnage made sense.

The Dreamcast ended itself because it had no pirating protections. You could literally copy games and play the copies on your console. I’m not against pirating, but the dreamcast’s own fans killed it, by copying all the games instead of buying them. Support your game devs, pirate old games

My PC gaming friends get mad cause they have gotten less attention from game devs recently and games don’t release on PC as much anymore, it’s cause 35% of PC gamers pirate games, so it’s no surprise that companies aren’t rushing to that market. Pirate old games all you want, but if you pirate new games, you don’t get to complain about the game companies not catering to you

I was laughing at all the YouTube videos last month “this is why the fallout show will suck!”. People are such haters. It’s not like the fallout games were known for their Oscar winning dialogue and plot, so as soon as I saw that the show has the exact same aesthetic I knew they could pull it off. I liked the first episode i saw.

Glad I didn’t watch with my kids though lol that sex scene came out of nowhere, but the gore I was happy about. Cause the games are pretty damn gory.

Nobody remembers fallout 1 and 2. If it wasn’t for Bethesda, fallout would be a dead series nobody remembers. The only reason fallout is relevant and even has a tv is because of Bethesda buying it. It’s their series now, and their interpretation of it is the only one that matters.

Fallout 1 sold 600k copies. Fallout 2 sold 125k.

Fallout 3 sold 12 million Copies. Fallout 4 sold 25 million copies.

I guess my point is that you have no argument. Bethesda fallout is undeniably the dominant and mainstream version of fallout that people know.

I’m responding to people shitting on Bethesda’s version of fallout and wishing the show was more like the first two games, and I’m responding with “most people don’t know the first two games, Bethesda fallout is The mainstream”. Am I wrong?

Pre bathesda- 750k copies of fallout 1 and 2 combined sold.

Post bathesda- 50 million copies of fallout 3,nv, and 4 combined sold.

I mean if those numbers don’t say it for you, I don’t know what will.

This “pay the modders” thing will just lead to more micro transactions. You want to download that created wrestler in the new game? It was made by so and so, you now owe. $9.99. fuck that

Granted I haven’t played them since they first came out, but far cry was great and the second one was ground breaking. The second one also started the trend of memorable, nuanced villains with the Jackal.

It’s kinda why I hated farcry 5. Joseph seed wasn’t nuanced, he was a religious zealot with no redeeming qualities, and since I despise religion I found him insufferable and not interesting. Also the bad guy in 6 was pretty straight forward and boring

How many ff7 related games are we at now? Two dozen? Square Enix is stuck on this game.

Yeah I got annoyed as hell that they split it into two just to gouge players. Also I was never a fan of ff7, but gave the reboot a try, still didn’t like it.

The characters and story. Just didn’t grab me. I liked FF 8 but not 7, Cantt explain why but I just liked the setting and characters better. I also liked that 8 had the more realistic graphics, with the melding cutscenes. and 7 had cartoony graphics with realistic cutscenes so it didn’t work for me.

It’s not like I hate 7, just wasn’t for me. I preferred other games in the series and wish they’d get some reboots and side games based on those. There are some great final Fantasy games that deserve a reboot and spin-offs but never got any, yet ff7 has like a dozen.

I remember back in Mario rpg he joins up with Mario and his crew, because his castle was taken and he was left with nothing. So he’s been a reluctant ally at times, maybe even against wario.

Solid game, I believe it began as a sequel to True crime streets of LA. It felt like I was playing an infernal affairs video game
