We bought some lights for the ceilings later to make it brighter because one of my friends was saying the same thing lol. There’s a toggle for reduced lights that’s on by default in settings, but i didn’t mess with that so maybe that will help too
The No AFK role part is one of my favorite parts about it. It means a party of 3 isn’t broken down into 2, which can be sometimes annoying. I think the closest i’ve seen is usually one of our players will head back to the truck early and wait if they have a Map Player count so they can watch to see if anybody dies and run out to grab them (or leave if the risk is to high)
Frostcrag spire is that DLC player house in the mountains, right? I went by there because i remembered it having a Spell Station i was hoping to get to circumvent the price for spell making. But i guess spells just cost cash to make in lore or something.
On the Bruma Quest on the original i did something similar and walked around for a good hour looking for him without realizing i had to talk to NPCs
The horse is a pain to move (in a fun way). I was just moving one a few hours ago while playing with friends and it was still a pain with 4 strength upgrades. To make matters worse we had a robe right up our ass and everyone else was dead. I ended up getting it to the extraction point but died to the extractor when i tried to adjust the horse further in after realizing it would get crushed
Oh yeah, definitely keeping the version in mind lol. I never actually noticed the doors until you pointed it out. It really doesn’t have any doors. The closest thing is the vents i think
I know Fallout New Vegas and I believe 3 had the same issue. I’d have to assume it’s Gamebryo issue, or just something about the way Bethesda does the save system. I didn’t know Skyrim had this issue. I guess it’s a very faithful remaster, even in the parts I wish got left behind
As someone who grew up with New Vegas on PS3 it’s definitely giving me flashbacks lol. I’m at 36 hours playtime and it’s not nearly as bad as I remember NV being but still, it’s a rough issue
It’s on my list of things to do. I need to get coal first though. I don’t want to deforest my whole world just for charcoal. My priorities have been a bit whack
Xenia runs the whole thing well for emulation. I was able to get Wii U edition to run smoothly on low end hardware, but Xenia and RPCS3 to emulate it has only really worked well on my mid tier desktop. I’ve heard of the modpack you’re talking about but have never gotten around to trying it unfortunately. Everytime i think about it something comes up lol
Xenia/RPCS3/Cemu can be used to emulate the old console editions. You just need a update with a new enough version fore the minigames. Alternatively i believe the PS3 edition still has the servers up for multiplayer (RPCS3 has their own servers too but idk if those do battle minigames). i’d assume the Xbox one edition’s servers are still up too
Man, i hope this results in a PC port like with SoH. I’d kill for a native PC version of 64 with a bunch of fancy features. It’s my favorite Mario Kart
