House Rules means House Rules. They’re very easy to follow for people who don’t regularly play.

Signs aren’t considered for pairing. If you have a 5 and a 4 both hearts it isn’t a pair. That should go without saying but I wanted to be thorough.

Doubling would be easier to work with if I were making a custom interface for it, custom betting gets more convoluted.

So are we saying I might get more participants if I used a standard poker tournament scoring system?

That’s fair, I have taken that criticism to heart, but technically out of 50 cards the probability of getting any full house are the same statistically as any other possible combination. (In the first round)

TBH those giant humanoids are pretty tame compared to the beasts who start showing up in the Caverns.

If you find it and wall it off you get to watch the beasts massacre each other and the lizardmen, which is funny to me.

It’s got all of the functionality you need but nothing in UE is “boilerplate” for 2D, meaning they don’t have the functions built for you to use out of the box. Godot has all the boilerplate for a complete novice to use after a few tutorials videos. Haven’t used Unity for maybe a decade so idk about them.

Lethal Company seems pretty original but the other 2 are franchise games built upon very saturated genres, so idk about that take.

There is a game from the MS-DOS age of 1996 called Realms of the Haunting where you traverse large open areas for hours searching for items and interactables needed to progress.

You might clear it a second time just to make the experience seem like a linear cohesive string of events but I can’t imagine you would want to clear it any more than that.

Bioshock 1 had replayability for me, but the next 2 games were a bother. It’s especially annoying in Bioshock 2 when you’re expected to gather ADAM with the little girls for full completion, when the benefit of doing so doesn’t justify the time it takes.
