Hey, y’all! Just another random, loudmouthed, opinionated, Southern-fried nerdy American living abroad.

I’m moving off kbin to lemmy, so I won’t be posting from here (unless kbin social gets it together).

If you’ve managed to miss anything about the bear sex until this post, I’m honestly kind of impressed.

If it’s the one I’m thinking of, where you quite literally barge in on…oh, I could have done without that one. Hooooboy.

One of my coworkers got one recently and absolutely loves it. I really want one, but I’m waiting until the next version eventually comes out, since the current one is slightly too heavy for me to hold easily.

Originally, they did plan to release it on PS5 and PC. My guess is Sony made a timed exclusivity deal with them, which Sony had done with companies before. SE shout themselves in the foot by taking it.

Bards are Baldur's Gate 3's best class and I can't imagine playing it as anything else (www.pcgamer.com)

I was planning on paying a rogue, paladin, or warlock (based on my tabletop characters), but this article nearly has me convinced. I am waiting for the PS5 release, so any agreement or dissension from my PC friends? Other class recommendations?...

I had been planning to play as a bard (I’m normally a rogue in RPGs, but we’ve got one in the party), then watched part of a Let’s Play where someone did, and the sight of the bard pulling out a violin in the middle of a battle was so ridiculous I immediately dismissed the idea because I knew I went be able to take my character seriously 🤣

I just finished downloading it and am playing as a ranger, and I’m not quite far into it enough to see how I like it, but I picked it because another Let’s Play I watched (I watched the first hour of several to see what it was like before I decided to get it) played as a ranger and it seemed interesting.

Maybe next playthrough I’ll give bard a go, just because I know they’re a good class.

Yup. You’ll always end up disappointed when they inevitably behave just like any other company.

I'd much rather have a focused game than one full of collectathon bloat with more for the sake of more.

25-30 is perfect to me. I’m currently playing Mass Effect, and I’m at about 30 hours and on the last mission. Just long enough to get in the world but not so long that it wears out its welcome.

stopthatgirl7,

Case in point, just compare Mass Effect 1 (about 30 hours) to Mass Effect Andromeda (well over 100 hours).

When BioWare announced they had made each planet on Andromeda bigger than the largest area in Inquisition, my stomach sank, because Inquisition had already been pushing it with the bloat.

I watched a review by this YouTuber who hated Andromeda but decided to give it another shot on a whim, only this time to just do the main and loyalty missions, and he said it was like night and day and the game actually was good and the story felt better and like there were actual stakes. All that more for the sake of more hurt the game more than a lot of folks realize.

Psst, that’s the joke. 😜

PlayStation 5 Pro ‘Project Trinity’ Details And Release Date (keytogaming.com) angielski

PS5 Pro is expected late 2024, with the PS6 expected 2028. If Microsoft is to try to keep pace, as someone who doesn't have either console, it will be interesting to see if they also brand this as a mid-generation refresh or if they stick to their guns they've been touting for a while of being "beyond generations".

My PC is a prebuilt I got for not that much a year and a half ago, and it plugs directly into my TV with an HDMI cable, the same as my consoles. It's actually next to my TV, and I play with a wireless controller. You don't need a special set up anymore for that, so long as your TV uses HDMI.

I could not tell you because I don’t have a PS5 to compare it to. I can say it’s leagues better than my PS4.

What does blocking someone actually do? (kbin.social) angielski

What does blocking on kbin actually do? I’m asking because it seems incomplete, to put it mildly. If you block someone, they can still see what you post and reply to you and you’re still sent notifications of their replies, even though you can’t see the comment itself (or any replies other people make to comments of an...
