I honestly kind of agree with this. A lot of people see metacritic/opencritic scores and take it at face value. I a lot of people that would just instantly write off a game if it isn’t higher than 80/100.
Gotta be careful with that even, people go out of their way to artificially inflate their play time and use third party programs to unlock achievements.
It isn’t even loyalty for me, I just have to real reason to go to the other store with 99% of my games being on steam, mostly purchased during a sale. The only exception is GoG, because they actually offer something the others don’t with their DRM-less versions of games.
All I’m gonna say about Rossman is that he gives me the same Ick that Mr Beast has given me since long before the allegations about him hit. So far my gut has never been wrong about people that make me feel this way.
I had to drop everything and move halfway across the country on somewhat short notice (long story) and could only take what fit in my car. One of those things was my random cables/adapters box and it came in handy almost immediately. No one will ever convince me to throw that shit away.
I knew this would be the case when my friend insisted I buy to play with him. Hes an unfortunate barometer for games that will either lose hype quickly or get shut down soon after release. You name a game that had a hard fall off and he was its biggest proponent during its honeymoon period. Game had its servers shut down? He played the shit out of it.
He is, and I spent a lot of money buying and playing some of these games against my better judgement, but I can’t do it anymore. Especially not if they’re gonna charge a $70 fee just to start.
The sony communities I saw poopooing the whole thing flipped immediately into “WE DID IT” mode, pretending they actually cared about the people that were going to lose access.
Consider Tale of Two Wastelands if you have the Fallout and modding itches. I’ve got lifetime nexus premium back in the day so I loaded up a wabbajack playlist and was good to go in less than an hour. Otherwise, it just takes more time to follow a guide.
While Take-Two is riding high on their announcement that a GTA 6 trailer is coming, its CEO has some…interesting ideas on how much video games could cost, part of a contingent of executives that believe games are underpriced, given their cost, length or some combination of the two.
Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 3, which was so massive Larian held it back a day to test it properly, will release today, and it'll add an RPG feature many of us have been requesting since we stepped clear of the Nautiloid - the ability to change a character's appearance. Alas, it comes too late for the Wood Elf Druid I rolled during...
For those who have pre-ordered it is already here, the rest have to wait a little longer. Starfield is finally here! Have you bought it, why or why not? If you’ve already played it, what do you think of it? We are very curious!...
More so this. The things I saw people saying they were gonna do once they got the game despite nothing of the sort being implied to be in the game were out of control. I’ve played the dog shit out of Skyrim and Fallout 4 and have yet to be let down by Starfield because I knew what to expect. And yes, I watched all of the ads and read the interviews, same as most, and never once felt lied to.
It was only announced because people were foaming at the mouth for any info at all, so they said “Yes, it is coming.” and people got bent out of shape that it isn’t already out even though they never hinted that it was soon.
As the title says. I severely dislike having to make accounts for every game publisher that wants to send me advertisements, collect data or whatever....
You could have just… LOOKED. I’ve got no problem when its a question with more nuance than a google search can answer easily, or if its an opinion based question, but all I ask is people just TRY before making a post somewhere when the answer is so simple.
