Albbi,

I nudged my sliders until all the important factors—tear duct length, tear duct height, skin glossiness, etc—were where I needed them to be, and then hit the “randomize appearance” button a few times for good measure. Then, I booted my creation out the door and into life.

Did I write and publish it this while sleepwalking or something?

Albbi,

That’s not a game. It’s an internet troll disguised as a game.

Albbi,

Toad and Jigglypuff.

Why u do dis to me?

Albbi,

I don’t have a PS5 but bought a controller. The first time I was playing a game that supported that feature, I thought my shoulder buttons had broken somehow. I suddenly had to press very hard after pressing the button halfway, and it was clicking. It clicked a bit later that it was a feature when it wasn’t happening all the time, just when doing a certain thing in the game.

Albbi,

Doesn’t look like any updates or changes, and updated with “Save states and rewinds”. So why buy this instead of emulate the originals?

Albbi,

I gave it a chance when they took over Rocket League. The damn platform doesn’t even support profile avatars while Steam did. So to get a basic nice feature working all you had to do was… not use their platform.

They still don’t have avatars.

Albbi,

Oh really? I haven’t played since they disabled trading items.

I mean, the cyber truck probably looks better than some of the other cars, and you’ll probably get better FPS due to the lowered polygon count! But yeah… no bueno.

Albbi,

I haven’t seen it, but I thought it might be better than the Grog or Scarab.

Albbi,

I went and played a few games. You’re right, the cybertruck is the worst looking car in the game by far.

Albbi,

I’ve never had so much fun staring at the screen for minutes on end without doing anything. Calculating my next move. Great game, but definitely not one you can just play mindlessly.

Day 11 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots (lemmy.world) angielski

Today’s game is No Man’s Sky (Also the first repeat game). This is my Ship that is stuck on fire. No clue why. It was damaged, and after I repaired it the fire wouldn’t go out. It works fine and all systems are operating perfectly. So I guess I just have a ship that’s on fire now

Albbi,

Hey, good job getting to day 11. This has been fun!

Albbi,

I’m drawing a Blank on this guy. Does he look stoned to you?

Albbi,

I was maybe too cryptic. Blank is a thief from Final Fantasy 9. A big plot point of his is he saves the party but gets turned to stone.

Albbi,

The Colonel goes f’ing nuts at the end of MGS2 and tells you to turn the game console off.

It was 3am when I got there and I was sick with Mono. I turned it off.

Albbi,

If it’s that easy then make your own competetor and charge less. It’s not like steam has exclusively deals with anyone.

Albbi,

I agree with you that there’s a problem, but I think you’re targeting the wrong villian here. I shop local whenever I can but there are a few things that are just… big. Video games are worldwide and getting them off the internet is nice. There’s no such thing as a local video game distributor. There’s local indie game development which I do support, but Steam is a product I like which does its job very well.

The problem here is scale, not necessarily who individuals are buying from. Take major league sports as an example. Salaries for indivudual players are in the millions because of the amount of eyeballs attached to wallets that are interested in watching those players. Less eyeballs, less money, and the players would probably be doing the same thing but not be making as much money. Same thing with music. It’s very hard for an artist to make a good living with music, but once they hit global awareness suddenly money will come rollin in from all over the place. This isn’t a problem with the people doing the jobs (although it could be said that major league sports should charge less, they are trying to maximize their profit) but is the result of the amount of people who are willing to pay.

The probelm you’re having is that a company is allowed to suck up so much money and keep it. That’s a problem for governments to handle. Individuals can choose who to give their money to, but sometimes there aren’t any other good choices.

Albbi,

but it has this thing where you can see what the enemy will do on their turn, which in turn makes your turn a tight puzzle as you got near-perfect information.

This sounds a lot like Into the Breach which is a fantastic game. Also the same people who made FTL.

Albbi,

No problem! And thanks for posting this game. Looks really neat.

Albbi,

Loooooove me some 20/30xx. Got 20xx for free from Epic and then quickly paid for 30xx on Steam when it came out. Thanks Epic!

Albbi,

No. The N64 was released in Japan before this weird abomination was released on either Japan or North America.

Albbi,

This is why I’m waiting until after early access to play the game.

Albbi,

Plus you can get credits for the premium content in game. So you’re not locked out of it.

Albbi,

Oh, I need this. I usually go with heavy metal remixes of video game music when I can but I haven’t found anyone that has done Tristram properly yet.

Albbi,

Agreed. I usually skip dialog in most games, but Hades had me taking to everyone, and it was fun! Crazy good game and I can’t wait for #2.

Albbi,

You could also check out Def Jam 2 for ps2. Lots of grappling and awesome moves.

Albbi,

I’m the same. It’s sitting in my cart.

Albbi,

Such a good game. Those guys are my favourite developers.

Albbi,

The N64 had a $200 launch price, which is pretty much $400 now. So nobody is making money from holding onto their N64. Hrm, maybe I should pick one up.

Albbi,

I really enjoyed Extreme-G, but never hear much about it nowadays.

Albbi,

I knew I wasn’t getting the parry right in Revengance either. Thanks for the tip, I’ll redownload that game.

Albbi,

Yeah, it does. This can sometimes require launching steam in Big Picture Mode first, then select the game you want. A bit annoying to take that extra step but Steam has upped their ps5 controller support lately.

Albbi,

I remember a friend playing final fantasy 7 and Summertime in the Void came on right as a battle started. The battle entry animations have the screen crack like glass, exposing the battle arena. It worked really well for where he was. In a forest I think.

Albbi,

I was a beast at Jackal. Could play that game without dying easily, and made up my own lyrics to the music. (I remember one song was about Colgate Jr.)

I think I loved how in so many games getting hit by any enemy meant death. But here you could run over guys. Fun game.

Albbi,

Then why do you think Shell prompted these streams?

Albbi,

I’d say Duke Nukem, include Duke Nukem 3D, but those don’t seem to be on GoG.

Albbi,

Picked up the Baird’s Tale Trilogy. Good reviews and I’d love to play one of these kinds of games again.

Albbi,

Yup, anyone who responds like that gets a block.

Albbi,

Subnautica, because lots of people said it was a great game and there were things that could be spoiled, so that indicated a neat story. The beginning was freaking awesome! But I hate crafting survival games, so I didn’t play for very long.
