Start revolution and overthrow dictator and put myself in as dictator. Build up military and gather nukes under guise of protecting country, but it’s really to protect me from copyright trolls.
I wonder if there could be a torrent site that is decentralized enough that no one really has significant liability for running it, like Bittorrent itself but for the indexing/curation aspect.
You will find it very difficult to get help with game piracy on linux just because the community is very small. If the game has a native release it will be even harder since most linux users want to support developers that do native releases. I’ve only ever tried a couple games that I had no problems with and that was a few years ago. These days if it has a native release I will always just buy it.
I do get that point , but I don’t want to lie I am preety broke who lives in a third world country I am simply unable to afford such luxury of buying games
Not sure if this convinces me… Installing a new service on your PC just to search from within qBittorrent? When one has a trusted torrent site where one can check torrent comments & shit? Perhaps I’ll give it a try but I’m not sure if it’s such a game changer as the author claims.
If you use Sonarr and Radarr, I highly recommend Prowlarr. If an indexer gets taken down or you find a new one, you can quickly add or remove them just from Prowlarr and it’ll do the same to your other *arrs.
It’s got a ton of built-in indexer options to set it up quickly.
If I’m already using Jackett with Sonarr/Radar and don’t really have any problems with it, should I still consider trying Prowlarr? What is it doing differently?
Prowlarr is the preferred search engine for all the *Arr services. I switched because when you make adjustments to Prowlarr (adding/removing/modifying sources, changing search priorities, etc.), those changes automatically carry over to Sonarr/Radarr/etc.
I have a ton of sources that I micromanage because I have turbo-autism. It was a pain in the ass to tinker with the sources in multiple places with Jackett, and I wound up with lots of gaps and asymmetry. Prowlarr is just cleaner.
I will sing the praises of Windscribe until the day I die. Privacy respecting, affordable and great customer service. And yes, they offer port forwarding as well.
Did anyone even bother to check out the article? Cloudflare is being allowed again since the ban broke the rules of net neutrality... It's the IP blocking methods that are being outlawed.
Would commercializing the trained AI count as a commercial public performance though? The legal problems with AI don’t come with the training, but when you start selling it.
I’m actually pretty pro-AI (and in particular, pro-FOSS AI), so I’m pretty unhappy about this myself ;p
If nothing else, this kind of shit will mean that only the existing “Intellectual Property” holders will have access to using AI. It would entrench things even more >.<
What do you mean by “All in one save menu?” / “not windows save menu but built in save menu”? Do you mean pre-ribbon interface, because that was introduced in Office 2007 and would mean that you’re looking for MS Word 2003 or earlier.
Here, have a look at this visual history of MS Word, it may help jar your memory about which one you’re after.
I mean when you save documents then a save window come up, the built-in save menu save everything in it like save docs to other formats (pdf dot…), save to a specific location, edit author… all in one window but the one have right now I have right doesn’t have that, here is a pictures how I remembered it https://lemmy.ca/pictrs/image/5ae936fe-dcf6-45bf-aff2-02eb8a8dad93.png
You should be able to replicate that even in Word 365 (Desktop) by opening Word, going to Options, (or File then options if you have a document open) click the Save category on the left then check (or unchecking) the box for “Don’t show the Backstage when opening or saving files with keyboard shortcuts”.
In the latest version of Word 365 if I check that box I get the floating Save dialog. If I uncheck it I get the embedded version.
Thing is I’m pretty sure that option, or something very similar, has existed in the same place with every Word version since 2013 and perhaps even 2010. You can learn more about “Backstage” here.
I think the Circuit Board Background / Theme was introduced along with theming in either 2010 or 2013 and can still be done even in the latest versions of Word 365. You can find out how to do that here.
