This wad made me feel like it was going to be a great Spooktober material, but now that's so many people played it, commented on it, and loved it, and now John himself is playing it, I really wanna play it myself and join the still fresh talks.
On Doom, no less, the game that breathed in so much life into the FPS genere and thus modern gaming as a whole, released back in 1993, and yet still active and alive thanks to its community! I love modding!
I’ve been wanting to play a game with this concept (but taking it serious) for a while; breaking into vehicles / buildings that have had all sorts of disasters happen to them, and trying to repair them enough to delay their destruction and cut a safe passage out for survivors, while not dying in the process. Fighting wind and rain, fire and flood and rising seas as the environment does its best to kill you.
I’ve been playing it and its reminding me of terraria as soon as it released. lots of fun but lacking in content and balance, similar to pre hard mode terraria.
Yeah something like that. I think it’s a promising game but it needs a little work to achieve a charm of it’s own. Now it’s kinda riding on Terraria’s coat tails.
That’s what I keep seeing people say in comments. The devs say they got access to all of the voice talent from the show, and I’m not familiar enough with Walton Goggins’ voice to say that is or isn’t him.
I’m not sure I understand the camera mechanic but it looks cool! Mannequins moving when you’re not looking reminds me of the weeping angels from Doctor Who.
