This game has Battle pass seasons that rotate new content. They’re all free and included with the game of course. It’s a good way to keep people coming back to keep your game alive.
So… my comment was removed…now we can’t tell scam artists who are peddling literal fake news to “shut the fuck up” here without our comments (that multiple people agreed with here) without getting culled?
I understand about not being toxic towards other’s here but this was directed at the ponce making that statement
Holy shit, Troy Baker is doing an incredible Harrison Ford impression...
I'm dubious on the first person stuff, especially since they seem to have put a lot of work into recreating Ford's likeness. But I was dubious about Cyberpunk too, and that turned out OK, so what do I know?
I know it’s technically not a mod but most older versions of RuneScape can be played “offline” by creating a personal private server. Everything from RSC to HDScape can have private servers but I don’t think I’ve seen private servers for RS3.
I tried SPT a few months ago (with additional mods) and it was enjoyable especially if you like tarkov. There’s a mod which makes the maps connected, where different extractions lead to other maps. There’s lots of things you can do to make the singleplayer experience better.
Although I’ve ended up playing the GAMMA modpack for STALKER Anomaly instead. It has what I look for in tarkov, and then some.
Absolutely not. Their latest version of the RED engine is far better at utilising the resources available than UE5. UE5 is still to some degree limited by its render thread and doesn’t scale as well with more CPU cores the same way CP2077 does.
Most UE5 also seems to launch with major performance issues, and many of the recently launched games will be borked for all eternity as shader compilation stutters aren’t something more powerful hardware will fix.
It’s a real shame that the executives at CDPR doesn’t want to continue investing in the RED engine.
The real reason is obvious why they want to be on UE5: There’s a clear consulting and contractor pipeline, so they can continue to farm out work to Technicolor and Platige.
Really glad to see this finally hit 1.0; idiosyncratic titles like this are my favourite thing about Early Access. For all the early, often substantiated negativity about the model, it enables developers to work on a lot of cool stuff.
