aCosmicWave,

I just watched the trailer and downloaded the demo. Excited to give it a try. The art style looks very unique and gameplay reminded me of an old Xbox game called Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. Speaking of which I never even owned that game but sunk hundreds of hours into the demo lol.

Any Orcs Must Die fans around here? (i.imgflip.com) angielski

I’m jonesing for these tower defense games. The first edition was released by Robot Entertainment in 2011, Orcs Must Die 2 came out in 2012, OMD Unchained (online multi-player) was from 2014 and OMD 3 was from 2020/2021. They’re all great fun and I am sad that we may never get an OMD 4. Game 1 was single-player, 2 and 3 had...

aCosmicWave,

Orcs Must Die was one of the last series that my friend and I played in co-op. We went from League (burn out) to recapturing some true gaming magic thanks to these games. I don’t play multiplayer these days but thanks for reminding me to give the 3rd entry a solo try.

aCosmicWave,

Do the Persona games have to be played in order? Or can I just pick up any one of them that’s available on PlayStation?

aCosmicWave,

Don’t let stuff like this tarnish your memories please. Many of the clothes we wear, food we eat, and products we purchase most likely involved some form of injustice during production or shipping.

It’s not your fault that you were born into a broken system. You found joy in spending time playing with your mom. There is absolutely nothing more innocent than that! Try to be a decent person in your local community and don’t internalize this kind of news too much. Anything else is guaranteed to be a recipe for a miserable life.

aCosmicWave,

I quite enjoy this site. On my journey to replace a lot of my content consumption with RSS feeds, Aftermath found a home in my RSS reader. We are human and humans can be hypocrites but there’s no need to dismiss an entire publication because of a single author’s hypocritical stance.

aCosmicWave,

I don’t have an iPad 😆

And the experience of using a dedicated device for the task seems more pleasant to me anyway. I did try the Backbone but it annoyingly required me to take the case off my phone every time I wanted to play.

aCosmicWave,

You are right. I will keep the device. Thank you internet stranger!

aCosmicWave,

How else will I know if I’m truly enjoying something? You seem like you know what you’re talking about.

aCosmicWave,

Thank you! This entire post is my little way of poking fun at the current state of things. It’s as if the market tries to set a singular narrative for new games/products and it’s very hard to provide honest feedback if it goes against the grain in any way.

aCosmicWave,

Hey! I took a good 5 minutes to write this original content. That’s like 10,000% more effort than the average repost on Reddit.

aCosmicWave,

Most of my games are on PlayStation. The Steam Deck is clearly the more powerful and capable device, but it is also more expensive and I have no need for any of the extra features. I love the ergonomics of the PS Portal (even though it looks silly), the haptics, the huge screen, and it all comes with a seamless integration into the PlayStation ecosystem. Plus there is no need to take the case off of my phone every time I want to play it unlike the Backbone.

It’s definitely not for everyone but they call it a DadStation for a reason ☺️.

aCosmicWave,

You are right. Even though I’ve had an absolute blast using the PS Portal daily ever since i got it I have made the difficult decision to return it because the internet told me that it’s actually not good.

aCosmicWave,

Looks awesome, I just wonder how good it will be playing solo ☺️

aCosmicWave,

This game rocks! The first game holds such a special place in my heart so understandably I was both excited and a little nervous to get my hands on the second. Thankfully we have a Portal 2 situation happening here. They took all of the best parts of the first game (mind-bending puzzles, thought provoking philosophical ideas, beautiful music) and expanded on it all without losing any of the core identity.

I rarely buy games upon release but gladly purchased this one to support these guys.

aCosmicWave,

Did you mean Time Commando by any chance? That was one of my favorites back in the day. Controls probably wouldn’t hold up these days but the time traveling aspect was super fun!

aCosmicWave,

I am playing Jedi Survivor. Having had a blast with the original I was excited to hear people say that the second installment is similar but better in many ways. I don’t know what it is about it but I’m just not able to get into it. Maybe it’s the semi-open world feeling of some of the larger areas? I dunno it’s just not working for me, which is disappointing.

aCosmicWave,

My local public library offers video games. I am on the list to try Remnant 2 for PS5 and I’m very much looking forward to it.

I really enjoyed your write up!
