So a game with a harmless in-game poker minigame with worthless chips are strictly adult only, but not games with real money loot boxes specifically designed to addict you and take your money?
Let’s say I’ve got a friend who bought a PS5 back in March, and this friend decided that she wanted to take part in this giveaway.
What are the pros and cons of this friend purchasing a new PS5, getting her free game (possibly Ghosts of Tsushima), and then returning the PS5 afterward? Because this sounds like a savings of $70 or so once it’s all done…for my friend.
Interesting, but he has been with them for a long time now. I'm curious if he'll have any interest at joining Tango since Shinji Mikami founded it and they share a history of mentorship and alignment on directive philosophies, or if he's more interested in doing something totally new. I'm eager to hear about it
Not too worried for the future of Platinum Games though, he was credited as supervising director lately, while others directed, so it’s not like he’s the only creator there.
I robbed my self of that ability accidentally, because I preferred cs 1.3/4/5 and it was won only, so I actively avoided 1.6 like the plague and with it steam. Then halflife 2 came out and I bit the bullet.
The coolest thing I’ve seen all year, if only someone makes a digital/emulated version of this I’d be set for life. FFCC is an absolute stellar game that really needs a proper remake and more love
I remain flabbergasted there’s no simpler way to get ten buttons of input and 240p of output on a generic 32-bit ARM device with a zillion official and unofficial add-ons. Especially when you look at the unholy chain of adapters necessary for input.
Especially once you swap the console playing the game for an early-model Wii, which has been hacked to hell and back, and has Gamecube, Bluetooth, and technically USB inputs.
You could probably do it way more simply with emulation, but it seems the point of this technical exercise was to do it all with original hardware (which is pretty cool)
There’s a Mobile Tractor Unit structure you can deploy from your ship that slowly pulls in wrecks within 125km. The 202 Halloween added a Blood Raiders version that pulls in only capsuleer corpses! wiki.eveuniversity.org/Mobile_structures#Mobile_T…
Dreddit is Recruiting if you’re looking to get back in. We just took some Sov again and are having a fantastic time. If you do stop by the recruiting Discord, tell 'em Claytonius sent you.
Fuck, I’m tempted but I have next to no free time these days. Last battle I was in was so much fun even if I was in a Guardian. I remember it started over some carriers trying to destroy a kestrel or something small like that and then we cyno’d in a fleet. Got a CTA and grabbed my closest ship. There was 1200 or so in local, took like 20 sec just to click on someone to try and heal em
So the way it works is it’ll pull all the wrecks right up to it, and loot any modules or ammo or whatever was dropped. The wrecks themselves just sit there gathered on the MTU (mobile tractor unit) for you to salvage if you want.
There’s also a salvaging ship now, the No this, but it doesn’t see a ton of use because everyone knows it’s easy pickins.
