I guess I really wasn’t into the game as I wasn’t emotionally involved at all. Not like in Last of Us 2 when Abby and Ellie are fighting. I was feeling their pain and anger and was really destabilized as if two of my close friends were fighting.
Smart. I’ve got at least a week’s worth of Hades left to play, and I literally hadn’t heard of this game. Now, I’ll probably check it out when it drops.
I have been watching the Prince of Persia game, but I would absolutely have glazed right over its release while entranced by Hades II, so yes, I agree with you, it’s a very smart decision on their part.
(Also, can I just say, holy shit is Hades II some good value. It’s basically two games worth of content in one. More than twice the size of Hades I. Utter insanity.)
You’re kinda both right - Dead Cells was developed by Motion Twin, who spun off a smaller team called Evil Empire to support it after release. Rogue PoP is developed by Evil Empire, while Motion Twin proper is working on Windblown.
A guy at a yard sale about 2 years ago at a beach town. Ive used it for retro gaming like crazy. I have a HDMI to AV adapter that ive had for years and it works without any fuss. Its a great setup.
The TV has better speakers than any other TV in the house.
I know it’s not the same, but it gives off similar energy as Sony RE releasing all the previous Spider-Man movies to theaters because Madame Web flopped so hard.
I agree full price is steep, but to be fair 1.5/2.5 is like 4 or 5 different games (plus a few cinematic movies for lore from the obscure handheld games) in one and the remasters are actually really well done and add a bunch of content. I don’t know how they perform on PC though since it’s a Square port.
The stories already fucky enough as it is in Kingdom Hearts, without doing a FF7 remake to it and releasing each game in chunks for a total cost of 200+ bucks for each game.
If you boot it up they give you the order to play it in. There is only 1 problem and it’s at the beginning. They tell you to watch 358/2 before playing 2 DO NOT DO THAT IT SPOILS A MAJOR PLOT IN PART 2
