On controller, I usually set my horizontal sensitivity higher than vertical. There’s only 180 degrees of up and down but 360 degrees of left and right to navigate in the world.
And another response about controllers. I just checked my post again, and I literally didn’t mention ANYTHING about controllers.
I don’t mind talking about controllers, but I’m genuinely curious. Why are so many people mentioning controllers, when I was only talking about mouse controls?
This week i have been playing diablo 4 again. I just want one free cosmetic and I see it as an opportunity to notice how bad the game is right now since there is going to be huge changes in next season. Somehow I found the game to be pretty okay as long as I don’t have to look at loot.
Playing some elden ring also. My first (not completed) character a year ago was a mage and I always thought the game would be too hard for me in melee. I was so wrong and i am having much more fun playing melee. Doubt i am done before the expansion…
Then there are Guild wars 2 wvw raids every week \o/
FFVII rebirth. It’s very good but still a bit of a letdown. I don’t get why they went for Ubisoft style copy paste open world. The main story content is quite low in many locations. For me the best parts of the remake are the brilliant characters, the interesting world and the story, rebirth doesn’t play to those strengths.
It’s not Yakuza 0, that game was so much fun, the minigames were more interactive, and it only felt like a grind when shaking down Mr Shakedown, then putting money into upgrades.
Like a Dragon just feels slower, and more grinding. Story is cool, substories are amazing. But the minigames are less entertaining, and business management is as bad as Kiryus one.
Clocked in around 45 hours in Cyberpunk 2077 and I think I might reach an ending in another 5 hours. I had good expectations for this game and this game is just way higher than my expectations.
Love the world building, the lore they are trying to build on side, references to Cyberpunk Edgerunners sometimes.
No microtransactions, although it does have DLC’s. There are some doors you can’t pass through unless you buy those, which is a little annoying but you always have another option. I do think it’s better played with a controller though since the action can be very fast paced.
A lot is going to vary depending on the exact game you play, strategies and game mechanics can be super different. The best way is to find a character that you really like and focus on having a good time. It’s a genre built off of learning from failure, so you’ve got to try your moves in different situations and see what works. You can practice moves against bots to find what situations they work well in, and plenty of people post combos you can learn online. Just gotta lose a lot.
