Fenzik, do piracy w [Looking For] VPN + Torrent Client in Docker Compose

Use gluetun, look up how to configure for your provider. Run a 2nd container for your torrent client, using network_mode: “service:gluetun” to run all your traffic though the vpn. Note that if you’re forwarding ports from your client to e.g. access the web UI, you’ll need to forward them from the gluetun container instead.

Evergreen5970, do gaming w What incremental games do you enjoy?
Blackmist, do gaming w Worth to replay Ghost Of Tsushima? (PS5)

If you didn’t enjoy it the first time I don’t see why you would now, even with a better framerate. It’s still the Assassin’s Creed Kurosawa Edition it always looked like, just smoother.

I didn’t mind it, but if you don’t like AC gameplay, you won’t take to this.

Try Days Gone instead, that one actually feels like the better gyro and framerate of the PS5 improves it.

PenguinTD, (edited ) do gaming w Backwards compatibility is the best feature of Xbox, and I don't understand why Sony is so far behind on this

Xbox has always doing the x86 architecture(Edit: as corrected by following comment, 360 was not.) so it’s much easier to do BC. For Sony or Nintendo it’s just not worth the effort until the emu is mature that they can just reap the benefit. PS5 can already play almost entire PS4 library, Anything PS2 or before can be emu pretty consistently if you are trying to get it done, then it only left PS3 in a weird place. For PS3, many good games already have a PS4/PS5 remaster games, for non-best sellers you can probably get a cheap ps3 slim with enough storage to play those left out games.(ie, PSN only Puppeteer), OR stream them like you mentioned.

steakmeout,

No it hasn’t - the 360 was PowerPC based just like Wii, WiiU and a lot of the PS3.

MS just had a lot of PC experience and games to fall back on.

PenguinTD,

Whoops, should have look it up I guess. Sorry for my old and fading memory and thanks for correction.

I’m at 86% main story progress of ff16 and the game is such a letdown after reading people hyping it up so much… feels like a chore at the moment but I’m so close to the end I’m just gonna power through it

I’m finally at Disc 4 of Final Fantasy 8 Remastered. Tried playing this game several times, but never finished it. I decided to use all the QoL options (combat boost, 3x speed, no-encounter) to avoid being frustrated by the gameplay (junctioning, drawing, etc), and I’ve been enjoying the story, even post Disc 3 twist.

Spongebob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. Wanted to play something silly and and stress-relieving. This fit the bill.

yote_zip, do piracy w game cracks on lutris?
@yote_zip@pawb.social avatar

Most game cracks work just fine through WINE. You just need to get the game extracted into the WINE prefix and have the crack applied, then point Lutris at it and it will work fine. If you find a specific crack isn’t working, you can probably find another that does, or crack it yourself using simple tools that are always Linux-compatible. I wrote a guide on using these tools for reference.

Still playing Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and 0 A.D. See this comment for details.

Also checked out SWTOR but I couldn’t get past the clunky controls and camera, so considering dropping it. Also checking out Star Trek Online for the first time, and it’s looking promising. The combat is a bit weird, but I like the controls better than SWTOR.

Hogwarts legacy

Stillhart,

I picked this up a few weeks back to see what the hype was about. Did nothing for me. Might be because I’m sick to fucking death of the “open world adventure” genre… they all feel like reskins of the same game I’ve been playing since, oh I dunno, Assassin’s Creed 1?

Hogwarts does nail the feel of Harry Potter but that’s not enough to keep me interested in a genre that’s played out.

delitomatoes,

It’s meant more for fans of the IP. If you’re not, like me, it’s a very generic open world game, especially after completing Elden Ring

Finished my first playthrough of valheim this week as a duo team. Yagulath and the Queen boss were pretty crazy. I’m hoping the Ashlands comes out soon, not really sure what to do with the game until then.

HidingCat,

Man, I liked a lot of what Valheim offered, I just couldn't sink the hours into it. Felt like doing work after work.

unce,

Yeah it does feel a bit grindy at times for all the iron and coal, but taking it slow can be fun if you don’t have much time for it. I really liked building and trying out all the different weapons.
