You can’t really. Only solution for me was to just not work 5 days a week. If you have a good job now… likely 3/5ths, so 3 days a week, will also make you able to support yourself.
If you want an alternative to Slay the Spire i can recommend Monster Train; you mainly summon different Hellspawn and cast spells, which gives it more of an Magic the Gathering feel.
If you want an ARPG fix and have thumb buttons on your mouse you can try Chronicon, don’t let the gfx stop you, it’s an excellent hack&slash game, and you can put all your skills onto 1 button if you like - i use the middle and the right button for most builds and thumb keys for pots
If you want a new spin on Darkest Dungeon, give Iratus - Lord of the Dead a try. Or if you played a lot of Darkest Dungeon and want more of it, try Black Reliquary, a huge (and free!) mod with a lot of new mechanics!
Going into the same direction as Into the Breach is Shotgun King - the final Checkmate. It’s really fun and the higher difficulties really make your brains work out. Workshop support with lots of extra content included! Also great for Turn-based Tactics is Invisible Inc., putting you in control of an spy agency which has been hit hard and tries to recover.
For arcade games i can recommend Utopia must fall - it really captures the spirit of old arcade games, but feels real fresh. You can also go for Nova Drift, which is also an excellent arcade game.
Then there is Cultist Simulator and its spiritual successor, Book of Hours. It’s basically a card based riddle game, and very atmospheric.
There is always Shattered Pixel Dungeon - it is also available on Steam or Gog, but you can download and play it for free from the link i provided.

I go through waves. Sometimes I don’t want to play games at all, and during those times I do some of my other hobbies/activities. Summer especially I spend a lot of time outside. I would advise against spending money to try and fix what just might be a temporary thing. Not to say you shouldn’t buy a SteamDeck if you want one outside of the fatigue, just don’t let that be the only reason.

Also, if you work from home, that may also be a factor. If so, try not working where you game if possible. That was a huge thing for me.

At the moment I don’t yet, I purposely asked if I could work full time at office. I still live with parents and the distractions are a bit much. Might try working from home sooner or later though.
In that case my original advice might be the best. Try doing some of you other hobbies, and then re-evaluate after a couple weeks. I’m guessing you are not in the US, but the weather is getting better in the northern hemisphere. Try finding something to do that gets you out of the house. If you still want to play games later, you’ll find the time
Steam Deck. I can play in bed, or even hook it up to the TV in my living room and play from my couch. I even picked up a wireless keyboard and mouse for that specific purpose.
When I was in my 20’s I had my PC hooked up directly to my TV. Now I have kids and I would rather not have it set up like that, but it may be an option for you.
I think your voice could actually be better than your wallet on this.
For one, these games are free. So, are you harming the world by playing them and just not buying loot boxes? Minimally, at best. I also advise people enacting boycotts to represent vocal action around them. For instance, I called Target directly about my boycott when they ended DEI hiring.
You can also help lobby politicians to make clear how you feel on the issue. That can put a lot more panic on publishers. Politicians don’t have a strong reason to defend them - often it only gets ignored because they don’t think voters find it a significant issue. Even if you don’t get a federal ban, sometimes you can get state laws like limiting physical advertising; which can also sometimes spread to other states.
Basically, boycotting as a form of inaction, especially when it makes your days boring, isn’t necessarily an effective approach.
As for android games… If you like puzzles like sudoku, check out Simon Tatham’s Puzzle collection. Simple ad-free online experience with a varied collection of puzzle games.
Been playing REPO too. I think its a better ‘game’ than Lethal Company, but Lethal Company shines more in the horror comedy area. Only issue with that is a lot of the comedy around the scares wears off as you play more and start to understand what monsters you need to fear and which you dont etc, then for me lethal company becomes a bit of a walking sim.
Repo doesn’t rely on scares as much & also has a much shorter route to walk to from cashout so you can spend more time playing and less time waiting for your stamina to reload so you can move more than 1 ft per second.
I may get bored of it at some point but I’ve had more enjoyable playtime so far than I did with lethal company.
If one wants to play F2P games I would like to recommend the no gatcha challenge. Meaning no gatcha or any in-game purchases. Rewards from forced tutorial pulls can often be sold / deleted or if the first pull isnt random then that doesnt count.
For battle pass games with only cosmetics I encourage to only use default skins, emotes, avatars, frames or etc. It probably annoys a lot of people to get owned by someone wearing “noob” skins.
If the games are still good / enjoyable after these restrictions then they just might be actually good f2p games.
Pretty much any game with gatcha like the Hoyoverse games. These often have some sort of endgame paywall but it could take hours to reach it. If the game is bad or simply unplayable without gatcha its a bad game. Free premium currency can often be used for non-rng non-gatcha stuff.
Competitive games usually only have cosmetics so you can just use default skin, ignore battle pass and focus on getting good and having fun. Some people could even get salty for getting their ass handed to them by someome using default costume.
I’ve been boycotting CS2 (née CSGO) since November 2019 when they introduced Fortnite skins with annoying voices that you couldn’t turn off or disable.
I don’t think it has worked but I’m definitely never playing another Valve multiplayer game, they always turn out the same way.
