I like them both. Two completely different games called Prey indeed. The first one I played on Xbox 360 when I just got one, the 'reboot' on PC. I think I liked the story from the first one better, and I wish they continued the first Prey as it ended with kind of a cliffhanger, but the second Prey all in all was a good game.
Too much man. I was initially just playing Atari 50, but I was itching for something with more gameplay so I started Neon White and I am loving it. That game must have been QA’d to hell because every level just flows so smoothly. Then I also started a new session of Monster Hunter World with couple of my friends. Later I was just not around my PC, so I decided to check out what I have on the switch, and now I’m in chapter 4 of Xenoblade Chronicles. Bonus game: Ordia on phone.
Dino Game is a simple but attractive running game built into the Google Chrome browser. With classic pixel graphics and easy gameplay, the game takes players on an endless adventure with the T-Rex dinosaur, dodging obstacles like cacti and pterodactyls. https://dinogame.app/
Hopped on path of exile with a friend. We’re slowing going through the acts and likely won’t get to mapping by the time the new league drops. It’s fine though.
Been messing around with Sky: Child of Light, that one mmo that is very reminiscent of journey made by the same people and got extremely frustrated. I ‘finished’ the game after getting stun locked, and proceeded to find some trials which required precise control of your character… Which is not a thing. Pressing jump doesn’t always work. The physics aren’t great, and the leeway for timings is much harsher than it needs to be. All in all, that was not the best experience. I ended up on the Farmville quest. First objective I could do alone, second one required another person. Third one needs 3 people…
It’s also the 8th anniversary of Egg Inc. and they have their annual event running. I managed to triple my earnings bonus in one day… Which is fairly significant.
Still catching up on the many Switch games I’ve missed over the years. Super Mario Odyssey, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, and Metroid Prime Remastered are getting lots of play. They are all excellent. Starlink gives me motion sickness though, so I have to limit that to 20–30-minute sessions.
As I am now more in “jump in, jump out” mode, CS2 from time to time, but mostly The Hunter (COTW) with friends and family, mostly as a background to talk and hang out, eventually some solo missions if there is more time or on a rainy day.
I completed the Steam 100% achievements for Dark Souls 2 and 3 so decided it was time to try Dark Souls Remastered. So far I think I’m spoiled by the other two games because DSR feels so tedious without bonfire warp. I’m trying to keep my first playthrough mostly blind, but this game does not really seem designed to make that possible. Luckily spoiled the part about going to Tomb of Giants too early and having to backtrack, but I did wander far into Catacombs right after the Gargoyles fight. It’s becoming more enjoyable as I level up and have switched main weapon to Great Scythe, though. Hoping I warm up to it more like I did with DS2 after the initial difficulty.
I’ve also been playing Fae Tactics. It’s surprisingly unique and satisfying with some combo mechanics and customizability. Definitely worth checking out if you like tactics style games.
Pitching in for Interesting NPCs. Adds a ton of characters/followers and several quests. If I picked no other mod (outside of unofficial patch) it’d be this one.
