I don’t recommend doing this. The dialog is far worse with the awkward gaps of silence.
I remember watching a few short vids on Youtube where people were making claims that Friends is unfunny garbage with out without the laugh track, but the truth is the awkward silences kill all jokes.
The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood! It’s a really good visual-novel-style game, but with the added element that you craft your own tarot-style divination deck and then draw cards from it during some conversations, and which cards you draw influence what kinds of readings you can give for people. It is established early on that since you were a kid your readings have never been wrong, and fittingly the game warns you early and repeatedly that your answers will affect your fate, dramatically. Well, no kidding! When I was playing yesterday I had a choice that I’d made hours earlier come back and bite me in the ass, hard. Almost made me want to quit and start over, but I’ve decided to see this play-through through and if by the end I still feel like I need to fix my mistakes I’ll maybe play it a second time.
tl;dr if you like beautiful pixel art, enigmatic beings from outside of space and time, witches, tarot, and/or choices that actually matter in your games, do give this one a go! I’m not done with it yet but I’d already love to chat with someone else who’s played it!
You can create a new torrent for that data if you want, that way you can continue seeding it in a new torrent swarm.
Otherwise if you intend to seed in the old torrent swarm then you need the old .torrent for that. Search around maybe you’ll find it (or if you remember where you downloaded it originally that’s even easier).
Vampire Survivors. Don’t be fooled by videos, it looks intense but it arguably has more in common with incremental clicker games like cookie clicker than you might imagine.
Original video assets from a studio has multiple audio tracks, but they are transcoded down to a single audio track before distribution to the end user. Sorry.
You could do some fancy editing, or maybe you can use machine learning somehow.
But removing the laugh track really messes with the comedic timing.
This is going to sound weird I prefer it to the laughing, makes it feel like they’re actually finishing their sentences rather than being cut off by people laughing at random words and seemingly cutting them off. I don’t know about most people but I find seemingly random laughter at benign things to be unpleasant and annoying.
Though maybe in the future as media manipulation with Machine learning gets better maybe we’ll have a way to chop out the gaps seamlessly as if it never happened for the people that find the gaps more bothersome.
By far the most unpleasant thing I find with current implementations is the fact that most aren’t seamless and they leave a lot behind when they can’t mute the whole scene such as when it’s mixed with dialogue or background audio.
Youtube-dl to download things in flac format from youtube (and sometimes rarely other sites when what i want isn’t on youtube, which is rare because people upload everything under the sun). I haven’t the need for anything more complicated.
