Maybe because of all those “Patented” points. It’s possible Nintendo doesn’t want to be 100% dependent on them and want an in-house solution to their problem.
I don’t know about Xbox, but drift issue is pretty common in PS5 controller too, and I recall reading that all companies uses sticks from same manufacturer.
Everyone online sings praises of ‘Hall-effect’ sticks, but no one (Sony / MS / Nintendo) is currently using them, probably because of higher cost.
If this works, this will probably solve the issue for Nintendo at least.
I have played most of the originals, but haven’t played any of the remake yet. I have heard great things about the remakes though, so may go through all of them sometime.
Do share you opinions once you have finished the game.
I have heard great things about the game. It’s on my backlog, but with all the games I am playing don’t want to start another one before finishing at least one or two of these.
Avowed is Obsidian’s next game. It’s a bit Skyrim like from the trailers, but not as big.
Also, The Outer World 2 is also going to be Xbox exclusive.
But if you don’t care about any of these, then maybe Xbox will be an overkill. Maybe get it and then sell it aftewards, or if you don’t like to sell stuff, maybe ge Series S.
I am planning to go for Xbox (actually, I am waiting for Pro version, the activision case brought up that there was plan for PS5 pro soon, so Xbox Series X Pro shouldn’t be far behind). While Starfield is a major reason, there is also Avowed coming up, and I have big hopes for that. Not to mention Fable.
Also, I’ve never had Xbox so want to play older franchises too. So, Xbox makes sense to me. Your requirements might be different.
I have come to realise I like 3D Mario games much more than 2D ones. If they want to make different style of Mario games, I would choose 3D game and then instead of 2D Mario I would go with 3D world style games. Though, there are chances Wonder will change my mind.
I have been following Atelier games for quite a while now, but haven’t played any yet. Though Atelier Ryza is on very top of my wishlist.
I was also interested in playing the Marie Remake, but I didn’t know it has time limits. How forgiving are these limits? And what do you suggest I play first Marie Remake or Ryza?
