I’m late because I just started watching Shogun, but Shadow Tactics - Blades of the Shogun is really good in the real time tactics genre, it was the first title released by Mimi who went on to make the acclaimed Desperados 3 and Shadow Gambit - The Cursed Crew
2D game yeah ! It’s on PC (mac, linux too) ; Switch ; PS4 ; Xbox One ; and I believe they’re working on an Android port. If you decide to buy it on Steam it’s also “Steam Deck verified” and is rated Platinum (works natively “out of the box”) on ProtonDB ; seeing how other, more ressource-demanding games run on Switch emulators, I think Dead Cells won’t be an issue, it’s very well optimized in my experience !
Yeah they added it for their 20 years anniversary in November, it has its own physics and came along a new surface with its own physics as well (wood, which then broke physics for existing wood making some old maps broken but that’s a long story)
I don’t dislike it, it’s brilliant, the epitome of SupergiantGames’ beautiful craft, but I just can’t play Hades, it released after I had already burnt out on Dead Cells, Curse of the Dead Gods, Grime, Enter the Gungeon, Blasphemous, Gunfire Reborn, and whatnot, I can’t bring myself to play it because I had already explored the genre so many times…
