Most people don’t want to dedicate brain cells for that

The art style is also too close to night reign/elden ring than bloodborne

Truly, reaching singularity is the end goal

The plot reminds me of that futurama episode where Fry becomes a cop and the cops use a robot that can simulate the future to stop a crime before it’s happened.

It was a really funny episode, if they took it as inspiration I think it will be a killer plot for a game. I mean even Isaac Asimov’s short stories hinged on AI being unpredictable by humans. (Although, in his stories some of the AI actually worked well) But I just know that that’s not what they have in mind here and I have no hope of someone using AI properly, in its natural domain (ie Sci-fi)

If only people strove to being this expressive rather than using corpospeak, things would be much better

The downside is the tinier the model the stupider it will be

Elden Ring Nightreign – Reveal Gameplay Trailer (youtu.be)

I have NO idea what this is. Geoff said on-stage it’s a co-op action adventure game, so this doesn’t seem like a sequel, but more like a standalone DLC? This re-uses a lot of enemies and assets from the original, and even Nameless King from DS3 is here....

What they said is true. At the time when they made that statement, this was already done 😎

Do you have any recommendations for casual games?

After starting work, I feel so tired every day, so I just want to play some casual games. Recently, I’m playing survivor-like games like Vampire Survivors and Darkchaser. They’re simple and fun, but after a while, they get a bit boring. So, I’m looking for other casual game recommendations, preferably single-player games...

I used to love this game but later I found myself optimising little things too much and my PC couldn’t keep up with a well grown colony

Yeah playing alone feels lonely, I just watch videos when I want to relax

Are there games with real collision detection?

All (action)games I know of don’t have real and proper surface collision detection, except some physics games. Just an example: If my Char hits something or someone the weapon goes straight through without any physical reaction, it just counts the damage I’ve done. Are there any games out there, in which physics are...

If some geniuses do invent a robust framework for physics based combat which results in realistic sword swings unlike Dark Souls’ bounce/no-bounce mechanic, it will be very fun

The damage could be calculated depending on how powerful the swing was and where it hit the enemy. I fantasize about this often
