That idea comes from the tycoon games because they run on newer windows versions easily. But it’s not because they were made in assembly. Any programming language can do that as long as the program doesn’t depend on specific OS features that get changed or removed. I think assembly is just synonymous with everything being from scratch.
PS4 and Xbone was the first generation I skipped. I always waited to see what console I was going to get first but then that whole gen just came and went before I knew it. I kind of wanted a switch this gen but I could never justify it to myself.
As we all know, Roblox is garbage tier gameplay structured around psychological cues to get children to fill an endless pit with fake money bought with real money....
I couldn’t stop myself from being sarcastic there, sorry. The utter cynicism struck me so hard I didn’t know where to begin explaining how wrongheaded I think people are being about that. I would for sure prefer Roblox not encourage mtx so much but sheesh man. I don’t think Timmy is trying to make the next Genshin Impact.
Everything I’ve ever gotten with RGB lights was a rainbow disco by default but I thought that was to force you to install the crappy driver software to turn it off.
I feel like the word content itself is completely wrongheaded. How much “content” does Tetris have? What would more content in a game like that even be?
It has over 612k views in 22 hours but if the watch time is low that’s probably because everyone is waiting for their chance to properly watch it. Also I personally wouldn’t call these video essays they’re more like documentaries. Not that it matters but if there’s backlash against video essays I’d really like channels like this to not be included in that.

It doesn’t matter if a game with microtransactions makes them easier to get or even free. If a game was designed with microtransactions in mind, the game has to be made tedious, grindy, and/or or frustrating completely on purpose to incentivize buying things.
