Well, I guess I’m somewhere in the middle. I’ve finished games and thought, that’s it? But I want a game that makes me WANT to spend more time with it, not one that forces me to grind an area for hours just to milk more time spent in the game. If I spent two hours on a game and I’m still in the tutorial, I’m probably not coming back to it.
It got me interested in stocks. I blew a few bucks on their wacky schemes, but for the most part I put in some long term investments that are slowly climbing.
My wife keeps me in check. Not in that she’s telling me when I can play, but that, I’m thinking about her before and while I play, and whether or not I’m being considerate.
I tried playing Starfield again. The first time I tried, it crashed 4 times before I could finish the tutorials. Tried it again this morning, got past the first spaceship battle and it crashed.
I used to get drift on EVERY Xbox controller in less than a year. The kids got older and started dropping them on the floor less, and lo and behold, my controllers last years without any drift. 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve been playing a bunch of old NES and SNES games, and they all could use a few patches. Many are buggy as hell.
They were still cranking out unfinished trash back then because the cover art and box description was all we had to go by. No refunds on opened games, your money was gone and you had no hope of it ever getting better.
