So basically they’re trying to do what Trip Hawkins did with the 3DO in 1993. In order for that to work, you’re going to have to convince people to pay PC hardware prices first. Two issues:
Third party manufacturers aren’t going to sell at a loss,
Sony will continue to sell their consoles at a loss, which means everyone will just buy their consoles instead.
Well too fucking bad, cause Halo is the only thing they’re good at. They should have sucked it up and kept iterating on Halo 3. That game was peak Xbox.
5ft is close for a 65" screen. Most people sit about 8-10ft away from a screen that size. And to be clear, I’m referring to distance from my eyeballs. The foot of the recliner is about 2ft away.
IDK but Ship of Harkinian has been around for years, and Nintendo has left that one alone too. This MK64 port is being developed by the same team (HarbourMasters).
Nope. Ship of Harkinian and 2 Ship 2 Harkinian have been around for years with no issues from Nintendo, and this port is being developed by HarbourMasters, the same people behind those ports. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
lol sarcasm aside, it actually can’t. This port is being developed by HarbourMasters, the same people behind Ship of Harkinian and 2 Ship 2 Harkinian (PC ports of OoT and Majora’s Mask, for the unaware.)
Brass cleaner, a microfiber cloth, and some elbow grease can fix any scratched disc. Apply liberally, rub in a circular, outward motion (against the “grain”, i.e. against the pits where the data stream is stored). Repeat until disc works again.
I had a friend who didn’t take very good care of his games. When the game would stop loading, he’d let me keep it. They always came back to life using the Brasso technique. Got to enjoy a lot of free Xbox games thanks to him. Halo 2 was an especially memorable experience. My brother and I got many years of entertainment out of that one.
That’s the one thing that frustrates me the most about these games, too. Minutes fly by like seconds, but the Sims move in realtime! There’s never enough time to actually do anything in the game! So I keep my Sims unemployed and just cheat.
Been playing The Sims since 2001; in all those years I have never seen anyone release a timescale mod for any of the games. So when do play, most of my time is spent in Build/Buy mode.
