The game is Sea of Thieves. Me and a friend did a Skeleton Camp, and after getting the treasure from the room in the screenshot above (worth 20k), we were attacked by these guys who rammed us. They sank our ship before we could get back on, so i spawned the ship back in, raced to pick up my friend. Then i sailed past the...
Finally bought this on the steam sale, playing on steamdeck. Im all about open world games where you can do whatever you want. I hate being locked into “missions”, escort quests, etc. I like a game having these as an option to do at my leisure however. Im several hours in and the environment looks amazing, would love to go...
After you beat the story you can go to the area from the first game as a fun little bonus. The main area of the game opens up in chapter 2 after about 4 missions
A friend asked me to see how well Watch_Dogs runs on Steam Deck for them. I booted it up today and ended up just spending all day driving around the city and fleeing from the cops for destroying stuff. I took this Screenshot after doing one of the few missions i did. I took it in the Loop section I believe.
The game is Final Fantasy XIV. I had a friend wanting me to give it a try, and he bought the standard edition. So my hand was kind of forced. Here’s a screenshot i took of the city i started in, Limsa Lominsa, after it started raining. You can see the tail of my Carbuncle there peaking over the top.
I ended up choosing to play with a PS3 controller for my first time. My friends all say I’m crazy, but honestly I love the controls more than the standard MMO “Hit this numpad key and then switch hotbar, then hit this key”
I’m in love with the base game (haven’t touched any of the expansions yet). I love the music, it’s graphically gorgeous for a game of its age, and I like the characters. I will say I don’t personally care for the combat, that’s mostly because I don’t really care for MMO combat in general. But my issues have been somewhat alleviated by using a PS3 controller to play
Steam Deck was how I chose to play it too for my first time yesterday (though I played on the dock with PS3 controller). I chose arcanist, and it’s really smooth sailing for me.
I can understand how people can sink 3,400 hours into it. I alone sank 14 hours into it yesterday. I will say I personally don’t like the idea of paying a subscription for my time after buying the standard edition, but I do understand they need to make income somehow and for live service games like this that is hard without a subscription.
After playing it I went through the soundtrack and added a few songs to my “Background Music” playlist I use when trying to focus. It has a ton of great tracks.
The game is Phasmophobia. A friend bought it for me so we could play together tonight. I took this in one of the early houses tonight. I know it’s not too interesting of a screenshot, but it was floating there along with a picture frame and a phone. interacting with them made them vanish. ik there are ghosts in this game but i...
Today’s game is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. today was exhausting and i really didn’t feel like continuing Jedi Fallen Order tonight (still loving the game though), so i decided to take it easy and play Ocarina Of Time. I have a lot of fond memories of this game ever since i played the 3DS remaster in middle school....
last i checked you’d have to give up mods on Steam Deck, which sucks, but a small price to pay for definitely one of my favorite ways to play SoH because of the portability
I was laying No Man’s Sky with a friend tonight after cleaning up part of 100% of L.A. Noire (Got all landmarks and Street Crimes!). I’m still looking for the new floating islands they added, i’m half convinced i made them up in my head. I found a sentient orb i tamed with some creature pellets. I named him Orbo....
The game look so gorgeous sometimes. I have over 3 Gb of screenshots from it alone. Every update when it changes it gives me an excuse to take even more
I was playing Sea of Thieves with some friends today. Game bugged out or something because they started rendering as skeletons instead of their avatars. So i guess i have my own literal skeleton crew now
Our crew consists of me, which everyone only lets be captain because no one else wants too, our “cook” who keeps setting the ship on fire, and the first mate who isn’t allowed to steer ever since he drove us over an island somehow
oh, that’s even more intersting then, because ik for a fact none of us have the skeleton curse (none of us have even touched any of the requirements). i wonder if it was a server issue
nope. it’s weird. This isnt the first time it’s happened (one of my friends got a screenshot on their end of me dabbing as a skeleton), but it is the first time i managed see it
it’s a fun game. I feel like it nails enough points to nab all kinds of different player’s attention. i get not playing though, it can be hard to find time though as we get older (at least that’s what i’m finding out as i get older)
I’ve been having a lot of fun with posting them. I think if I do end up missing a day I’ll probably retire to just posting a screenshot whenever I can.
Will do! i went ahead and moved it to the title because i figured no one was actually reading the text in the body and just reading the title, but if people are getting joy out of guessing the game i have no problem moving it!
Recently I’ve started to slow down due to other obligations this last week, it used to be around 35-42 hours a week though because i didn’t have much going on
I was playing Fallout 76 with a friend tonight and I found a fish in a toilet. It made me laugh more than it should have. This is what I chose to share tonight
i picked it up on launch and was one of the few people the enjoyed it. after all the updates though i will say it is far better. I’m doing a Rifleman build and trying to do my first Scorch beast (after trying at my first attempt a few years ago solo and failing at the silo)
So both Life is Strange and Until Dawn have what’s called the butterfly effect something that’s kind of a questionable concept at best but it’s somewhat real. Telltale was famous for games like this as well. But yeah it’s like depending on your actions it can change the story and thus play more like a movie with a...
I had a long day and decided to take things easy, so i played some Minecraft. Here’s the little house i built. I went with 1.5 because that was the version i grew up with (Technically Xbox 360 Edition TU3, but Java 1.5 was the version i felt was closest to that)
Some of the oldest memories I have of Minecraft are Me and my Sister spent our entire summer looking for Herobrine (we did totems, rituals, even Herobrine “seeds”), we built this really cool multi story house for us to live in (and then I promptly evicted her after she stole one of my cats), then we compromised and built a brick house for her in a swamp.
Those early memories are some my favorites, I wish I could get back to them, even just for a moment.
I got Minecraft on the Xbox right around TU 3/4 (probably TU 3 since I believe TU 4 added horses and those were only added after I started playing). I would play almost daily with my Younger Sister until we both ended growing apart. The game really has grown a lot. Sometimes I can’t tell if something is a mod or vanilla when I see a post online.
I fucking love create to the point when me and some friends put together a server, create is the first thing I go for. It’s cool until like the next day where I have an iron farm setup and they’re still trying to get enough for an armor set.
