It looks interesting. The Summer Gameshow said it was inspired by Silent Hill and DDLC, so it’s an interesting concept. The character models are a little jarring with the game world, but it could be intentional for all i know, and I’m excited to give this a shot.
I’ll have to set it up then. I probably won’t go larger than a medium galaxy so it should do well then. If I get back into fine tuning the performance for steam deck maybe I can get a good balance too
I really do lol. I was so caught up with getting territory before the Faction that kept starting wars with me could that I forgot to actually do the anomalies
Damn. Last December if I had played then that would have been my load out too lol. How does it run on the deck? I’m seriously considering installing it on mine to take it on the go
I was up until 5 AM playing lol. If I didn’t promise to play something else with some friends I wouldn’t not be surprised at all if today was Stellaris too
They’re so buried in the system settings and the Maker is so… bland. I mean. I get it. They wanted to distance themselves from the Wii U as much as possible but it does feel like a lot of identity was lost because of that
Damn. I remember when it came out. When I first heard about it I was in the living room playing Assassins Creed 3 and a YouTuber I was into at the time uploaded a let’s play. Time really flies
I’m using Emudeck on Bazzite with GNOME. It’s an entirely AMD based build.
I was mostly just able to install and go. There were two issues but they’re pretty minor and easy to fix:
I had to go into the launch script for Xenia provided by Emudeck to change the proton version used though because it wasn’t compatible with the base version used. But that may have just been a me thing.
Xenia has a weird quirk with Xbox Arcade games where you need to reopen and close the emulator too. It’s an intentional feature and I’m not really sure why it does that.
But besides those two things it works flawlessly. I have almost no bugs. I added it to Steam with Steam ROM Manager included with Emudeck and will launch it through that (or I’ll launch Minecraft, and then Xenia because of issue 2). Steam Input works fine and no tearing or graphical issues whatsoever.
Sometimes. I’m also a college student though with a ton of free time so it’s not like I don’t have the free time to play video games. Usually though when I play a game I take a ton of screenshots to just show friends, so I already have them. The tiring part usually comes from busy days like finals or when I’m out of the house all day
I just finished testing it and It worked well. I’d assume you could play the entire game that way but I didn’t test it too long (and the controller for player 1 just sat idle) because it was just me playing.
