I really struggle to remember weaknesses and tips. I just figured out at least that I don’t need to cast Assess every time, I can just hit select which makes things far easier
I borrowed the original from my local library but had to send it back during Chapter 7. A few Steam sales ago though I picked it up again because I really enjoyed it
I love seeing this guy talk about the most mundane things. It’s cool to see someone look at something mundane and go “I wonder where this leads” and follow it.
I’m not big on any sort of full fledged ATB, which is the reason i play the remake over the original. But from what i’ve seen the original is still highly praised and worth going back too. I’d agree and sat give it a go, worst that can happen is you try it and go “Nope, i don’t think this is for me”.
I ended up going to google it for the original and found out it was a common enemy. It just so outlandish i wanted to know what the original context was. It is interesting to know it was always kind of out of place though
Just did the Hell House boss fight and learned all this the hard way lol. I wish i had read this sooner for that. Somehow i barely managed to pull it off first try though
If I didn’t have all day to myself yesterday I definitely would have spread it over multiple days lol. Very much it was a stars aligning situation.
It’s nice seeing the genre get a revitalization too. For a while there it felt kind of stagnant. Like the only major player we had was Resident Evil I feel like and then all the smaller ones
I don’t watch many anymore admittedly, but outside of Super Mario 64 i’ve always found Minecraft and Portal Speedruns to be interesting. The OG Mario Bros. ones are too just because of how the scene is now
I think it’s a combination of the graphics and just the limitations it forces on you. It really forces you to think outside the box for builds, at least in my opinion. I’m sure there’s people far more qualified though to figure out what it is
It’s crazy. I got as far as clipping into the pillars in Peach’s Lobby and then got stuck on the BLJ (and that’s the easiest part). Having the skills to do that is some insane human level shit. I’ve always had huge respect for speedrunners.
I’ve borrowed a few. Off the top of my head there’s FF7, Ghost of Tsushima, and Animal Crossing New Horizons. I also borrowed Persona 5 because I wanted to give it a try but never actually booted it up.
I requested them to stock a copy of Fire Emblem 3 Houses too but they took so long that I just bought a copy myself, but literal day my copy arrives they stocked it.
I tend to bounce around with books. I don’t get much time to read but i’m sucker for the basic classics. I’d say on my list of all time favorites is Robin Hood, Macbeth, Beowulf, and anything Arthurian. Hitchiker’s Guide and and everything Tolkien is on that list too.
If i wanted to get a bit niche (and on theme) the Minecraft novel written by Max Brooks was weirdly fun to read when i was younger.
I have quite a few books i’ve picked up and haven’t finished yet too though like Catch 22 and the Star Wars Prequel Novels.
