FunkyMonk,

Forbidden west did have allot of that, I get purple grade weapons to gear up for quest and it rewards me with the same weapon 2 tiers lower than the shop in town.

FunkyMonk,

Borderlands I would spend 6 hours until I find a gun that didn't spend more time reloading than shooting and pray it doesn't fall under the level curve for a few minuets. Love that game in principal but so many shit guns with the RNG system.

FunkyMonk,

yeah it's not that the game is hard it's more than most of the rewards and unrewarding and I end up buying most of my best gear instead of being quest gifted it.

FunkyMonk,

My theory is that because the real intention is 'to not see the thing but build suspense of the unknown' makes people think it will be easy because they are designing things not to be stared at intently but only flashed at the user quickly.

FunkyMonk,

I speak to enough dipshits at work spewing word salad, this is what I wanted with my escapism, people who follow the fucking conversation not some AI bot resume filling buzzwords about the plot.

What games do you recommend for my girlfriend? angielski

My girlfriend has never really gamed. But she’s now forced to move less than she would like to (health problem) and she’s getting bored. I was thinking of introducing her to a game or two that we could play together. She’s not the real action game type, and seeing as she has no experience with controller/mouse and keyboard...

FunkyMonk,

Minecraft, stardew, factorio or satisfactory are good ideas. Fortnite's lego mode. Dragonquest Builders 2.

For stuck inside though and I've been there nothing beats those big open world games. Maybe Cyberpunk or BG3 or Yazuka or Fallout or Elder Scrolls are my personal faves but anything where you get to be the boss of the world like those are so fun when you can't roam or socialize much.

FunkyMonk,

Those booklets were more joy to little me on the car ride home than the game itself many a time.

FunkyMonk,

There is a prequil 'Crisis Core' and I expect more spinoffs again but they keep saying it will be 3 core games for the 'retelling'/remake project.

FunkyMonk,

yeah there is a big 'fate' sort of narrative about other possible events and shifting death flags

FunkyMonk,

very fun platinum, cant say that about many games I've 100%ed,

FunkyMonk,

Oh THAT loading bar? It's just uploading important things and totally not searching for a server to Sprunge it's payload onto of your data.

FunkyMonk,

only works for me now when I'm flying something that can't hover. Tried it in AC6 and felt like way less of a pilot :|

Good gaming experiences with no HUD? angielski

I’m starting to find that HUDs in games clutter the screen and take away from being fully immersed in the game. I like games that force you to pay attention to what’s going on in the game and not numbers/markers on the edges of the display. What are some of your favorite games to play with no HUD? Here are a few of mine:...

FunkyMonk,

Elden Ring and other fromsofts have the Hud disappear unless something actively happens with it sometimes. You don't see your health or mana unless you get hit or cast a spell.

FunkyMonk,

I'm so sick of the late stage capitalism approach to art 'Well FOOD as an art lives on Tips, why not ALL ART live on constant hand reached out while dancing for approval?'

FunkyMonk,

I appreciate the humor here and also feeling like I'm getting aware how hard it is to find honest feedback on anything game related with how heavy THE MARKET wants to push influence on the industry. The stuff about BG3 being THE WORST BECASUE IT HURTS BIG MONEY FEELINGS comoflauged articles was INSANE. Fucking Chat GDP ones shilling that little companies shouldn't be thought of nicely.

FunkyMonk,

Don't you have phones -Blizzard Rip never forget.

FunkyMonk,

As a lifetime gamer (40s) staying away from 'service' games with an endless endgame really does help for self regulation. If there is 'a game' that you just zonk out on the gameplay loop thats the blurst. If I get a game I like it to be a game with a conrete ending now, there is a 'final' final boss, there is a dungeon meant to be the last challege. If it's just 'SUPER HARD AREA X WITH DROPRATE OF THING YOU WANT' fuck that. Especially if you hear game dev talk about having to design these kind of casino models really turns you off to them.

FunkyMonk,

My favorite FPS ever, If you havent checked out Control I recommend that one often to for little something else FPS like Titanfall is.

FunkyMonk,

Forced sections in AAA games. If you wander left or wander right or jump or sneak a direction it didn't want you get a mysterious death. Just make it a cutscene if you are going to pidgeonhole me so much assasins creed, or a cartoon movie.
