I get that. For me modding is part of that experience and maybe it’s Stockholm syndrome but Skyrim itself is kinda fun with mods just with how many there are
I played Skyrim on and off (mostly off) starting about eeeh idk 4 years ago. Around November and a few months before that I got into the game again and decided to expand my mod list and go deeper into that rabbit hole. I’ve always played modded but it was pretty light stuff and nothing that required the script extender
Then they updated it and broke mods and just kept updating, so i bought oldrim and started again cus i only like to mod games that have stopped being updated for this exact reason
I would love to play Skyrim vr but my laptop is an absolute powerhouse and doesn’t have the right ports for my vive pro and I use a family desktop that my family uses for sports simulators for VR
the desktop is pretty good but it’s a potato for vr. Capable of running if I turn the settings low enough and long load times :(
I’ve tried adapters that didn’t work and a wireless attachment requires me to open up the laptop and there’s probably no room in there cus laptop
But then your vampire overlord character, they who command the darkness itself, need to be mean to little Timmy who lost his puppy and next thing you know your character is morally grey at worst
I was rebuilding my decks and in my water deck i have a lot of stage 1s and basics to make it easier to build them up so in that deck I’d probably want more trainer cards
As for my psychic grass deck for example It still has a couple evolutions but it’s nothing I can’t go without so then I’d probably want slightly more energies since I thought that was a problem area
I always struggle with starting (no matter the task) so would a good general be start with 10 pokemon then build items (like if im going for evolutions or something) around them. Then build the energies based on what pokemon I want to pull and how their energy demand is. Then in occasionally see if I’m lacking damage or don’t have enough support
I mean that’s what I’m thinking but like I said starting is hard for me
Ok so pretty much start with the few pokemon I really want then item cards to get them. Then just kinda fill in the gaps with other pokemon and items that have synergies as I go
I don’t remember if I said it here but this is just for fun between friends nothing serious
As I said in another comment I struggle when starting (this goes for everything)
So far my gameplan is to get about 10 mons I really would ideally be pulling, get some support cards to pull them then just kinda fill in the gaps with what will have good synergy
Adding a bit more to the discussion on whether game subscription can be “the future”, it looks like despite the heavy push made in the past decade, subscriptions only make up 10% of total video game spending in the US....
Don’t worry we won’t have have to worry about subs being dominant. Oh wait you meant subscriptions
Ok but jokes aside in some cases a subscription is necessary. Probably a bad example but Netflix needs to operate servers that I can get behind if it’s reasonably priced
However games and services that offer a subscription that don’t need it, unless I REALLY like it, I think it’s plain bad
And frankly I’m kind of a hypocrite here paying for planetsides “premium” service even though they could keep the lights on without it
I kinda went off on a rant but even it only makes 10% (which to me is definitely a big number but seems smaller than it is) of sales it kind of sends a message that this a way to extract more money from people like me that go “hmm well I like the game I guess I’ll pay $120 or more a year for this yes this a sane financial decision”
TLDR: subscription bad but I’m personally using one :(

Gta online, v rising, planetside. Picked up atomicrops on my switch again and I’ve miraculously made it past year one given the face I have no idea what I’m doing
Oh for sure, I meant more anyone here since the planetside community here isn’t the most active even compared to the planetside subreddit.
I still play the game and have played briefly in 2018 and then played since the summer of 2020 and I’ve in the abusive relationship that is this game since then
That would make a ton of sense as the legend (beat Ganon) is the same but details and setting change
But I couldn’t help chuckle at mental image of some grandpa telling his kid the legend (the tears of the kingdom version) of making a weaponzied hover bike torturing koroks

One thing that kinda sprang to mind was accessible controllers. Ik Microsoft makes one and I’m sure there’s some approved but my thoughts are what if it doesn’t serve your needs
Sometimes I can’t keep it together when pikachu and Steve from Minecraft duke it out with music playing that makes me expect a giant healthbar to appear in the sky
