Stoked. I like the new improvements. I’m happy to see this game moving forward like this. Been playing for over 20 years and I couldn’t be happier. After a few patches to tidy up loose ends, this game will leave CS:GO in the dust.
This is the way to be. I won’t be buying Starfield for at least a year, likely longer. By that time GPUs will be able to run it easier and I’ll be due for a new one. The game will have also seen its most significant bugfixes in that time.I haven’t bought a new game hot off the press in almost a decade. #patientgamers
Don’t eat your burger hot off the grill, let it cool and allow it to congeal the fats a little bit. That way it doesn’t fall apart on the first bite. ;)
I’m sure Codemasters is still the team working on it but their games are still sorely lacking in the physics department. I understand the need for the game to be playable on a controller for mass appeal, but we really do need them to refine the engine to cater to wheel users. The cars have way too much grip. I don’t even mention how atrocious the tarmac physics are.
I’m curious to see how badly the 20 year old RBR dunks on this new game. Don’t get me wrong, I’m dying for any studio to put RBR to rest at this point but I just don’t see it happening with EA.
Its a mix of CS:GO, The Long Dark and Assetto Corsa for me lately.
I just got the Project Rome mod for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 so I’ve been playing that quite a bit as well! To any BC2 fans out there, make sure you get Project Rome and start playing again! It’s just as fun as it’s ever been.
To me, Hyper Light Drifter is an all-time legendary game. Gameplay is perfect. The atmosphere is perfect. The soundtrack is absolutely perfect. The game is just perfect.
My gut reaction to this is not good. I don’t see how a 3D game could ever achieve the same level of greatness and immersion that HLD did. They set a ridiculously high bar with HLD and I’m sad tobsee that the next iteration from Heart Machine won’t expand on the foundations they laid. I can’t help but feel disappointed after seeing this but regardless I’m absolutely willing to see what they pull off with this. Fingers crossed.
