Algaroth, do gaming w Nintendo goes after the Palworld Pokémon modder

Bahamut Lagoon did it even earlier. That’s not the point I’m trying to make. This lawsuit has nothing to do with Palworld other than the mod being for that game. All big corporations have lawyers on retainer to protect their IP. Nintendo being mad about Palworld is complete conjecture.

Someone made a mod using actual pokemon and put it behind a paywall, meaning they were making money off of Nintendo’s IP. Anyone would get into legal trouble for that. It doesn’t have anything to do with Palworld directly. Same thing would have happened if someone charged money for a mod that added Pokemon to Fallout 4.

That makes me think that if it wasn’t for Godot and maybe the Unity fiasco they might never have done this. Competition is good and this is probably a practical example of it.

Algaroth, do games w Starfield Is Bethesda's Lowest-Rated Game On Steam

They’re still using the same engine they’ve used since Morrowind. That’s a big reason their games feel dated. As for Starfield itself it tries to do a lot of things but it doesn’t do anything perfect. Everything it does there are other games that do better.

Uh, I totally don’t care about anything either.

Yes. Everything affects the consumer. That’s why some consumers care about it. I don’t understand why you can’t wrap your head around that.

Hi. I’m a brewer. You might not care about malt distribution but maybe you can understand that a lot of breweries run on small margins. If we suddenly have to pay a lot more for malt we will either have to raise our prices or go out of business. Raising prices might also drive us out of business because less people will be inclined to buy our beer. So it does affect you as a consumer, whether you care or not.
