Got it! One thing you could do is see if the game has any time trial/challenge mode, or if there are any community challenges (like nuzlocke for Pokemon).
Whenever you’ve had your fill. Whether it’s 5 minutes for 500 hours, there’s no sense wasting your time playing something you don’t enjoy. I’ve played Pavlov for over 300 hours and am still going back every week. There’s no longterm goals and that’s perfectly fine, if I ever get bored with it I’ll uninstall and move on.
I played a bit of a closed beta I’m not really allowed to discuss in detail, but I had a blast! Looking forward to the full release.
Also got part way through episode 2 of Walking Dead, I forgot so much of this story. Handing out 4 pieces of food to 10 people (well, 2 to 8 since the kids were guaranteed) isn’t easy 🥲
And story time: My partner and I were down 146 to 149 in Destiny 2 crucible. We were separated and each crouching with glaives so they wouldn’t see us on radar.
I waited around a corner and filled someone with stab holes while she simultaneously killed some guardian with a sword (which kill in one swipe), since we were holding 2 zones it gave us the 4 points to steal the win! Glaives are so much fun in pvp
It was mostly distributed by FuncoLand, and only really started to pick up when they included it in their Fan Club subscription. B&N bought them in 2000 and pushed it hard while expanding stores, eventually they got big enough that they could get exclusive reveals.
So it’s a case of pretty much always being bundled in with another service!
Fair point! Looks like Nintendo Power had well over a million throughout the 90s and Game Pro sat around half a million. GI didn’t start until 1991 so it would’ve been significantly lower, but it started getting pushed harder by 2000.
We’ve probably done more research in this thread than the person writing the article lol
