Dostałem w prezencie tomik "Arytmie życia" popełniony przez Michała Kellena. Nie mogę się nadziwić, że wcześniej nie natrafiłem na te wiersze. Chyba powinienem częściej sięgać po poezję, której nie znam (relatywnie często wracam do wierszy, które lubię). 🍂🍂

Dawno już nic nie pisałem, więc fajnie by zacząć od polecajki ksiażkowej, skończyłem czytać przed wczoraj
"Together We Will Go" autorstwa J. Michael Straczynski, była już od dawna na mojej liście po przeczytaniu opinii od @MistyPop, trochę mi zajeło by po nią sięgnąć nie będę ukrywał to była moja pierwsza lektura nie specjalistyczna w języku angielskim i od razu muszę powiedzieć że była ona napisa tak bym mimo słabych umiejętności językowych przeszedłem przez nią jak przez masło.

Może powinnienem powiedzieć o tym na początku ale nie chciałem was odstraszać, książka jest o osobach które postanowiły popełnić samobójstwo, osobiście, w mojej opinii to chociaż jest to celem ich podróży w samej historii jest tylko przyczyną dlaczego bohaterowie o sobie mówią. Dzieki temu mamy okazję poznać przyczyny ich decyzji i jak oni się na to upatrują, co ich pchneło by wejść na tą drogę, postacie nie są jedno warstowe potrafią zaskoczyć ale w taki sposób że wiemy iż mogli tak się zachować. Myślę że ostatecznie jest to histora o życiu, ale też o ludzikiej psychice.

Ależ wrzucił film na YouTube northazerate o zespole Sonata Arctica.

Sam pamiętam, że ich debiut usłyszałem mając może 16 lat (7 lat po premierze) i też eksplorowane były rejony power metalu jak Helloween, Gamma Ray, Sonata Arctica właśnie czy DragonForce.

Ależ czasy. Oczywiście odpaliłem wydawnictwo "Ecliptica" pisząc tego tootka. @muzykametalowa

Come Clarity wprowadziło mnie w melo-death dzięki czemu sprawdziłem, co grali wcześniej i poznałem At The Gates i Dark Tranquility i całą resztę kapel grających potem death w różnych konfiguracjach jak Opeth, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Vital Remains.

Dużo dzisiaj mam dla Was. Zacznijmy więc od razu.

  1. Hellveto/Neoheresy - ciekawy przypadek. To ostrołęcki zespół, który od 2014 roku nazywa się Neoheresy, natomiast na Spotify możecie ich znaleźć jeszcze pod starą nazwą, Hellveto. To symfoniczny pagan black metal, ale dobrze zrobiony i ani nienudzący, ani nie powodujący cringe'u. Z drugiej strony, nie jest to też coś, co by mnie porwało, ale pamiętam, że słuchałem tego w czasie pracy i nawet nie wiem, kiedy mi to zleciało. Warto dać szansę.

  2. Sorhin, album "Apokalypsens Angel" - szwedzki black metal, który zarówno muzyką, jak i nawet okładką nawiązuje do znanego działa Dissection, a mianowicie "The Somberlain". Jeśli lubicie duuuuużo melodii w BM, to warto to sprawdzić, bo to właśnie takie granie. Cała płyta jest w miarę równa i zapewni Wam dużo uciechy, aczkolwiek mroku tu za bardzo nie ma.

  3. Aura Noir, album "The Merciless" - "panowie, wchodzimy do studia i napierniczamy". Tak mogło wyglądać nagrywanie tej płyty, która trąci podziemiem i absolutnie nie ma tutaj nic innowacyjnego, wysmakowanego itd. Po prostu są wycofane instrumenty, krzyk na pierwszym planie. Szczerze mówiąc, klimatu tutaj nie ma, tylko po prostu takie piwniczne granie, nawet trochę trącące thrash metalem.

  4. Paysage D'Hiver, album "Winterkalte" - wiele osób mówi, że to nie muzyka, tylko doświadczenie. Jakość lo-fi (niektórzy nawet mówią no-fi), wszystko zaszumione, darcie japy, którego nie da się zrozumieć, ale... klimat nieziemski. Są osoby, które mówią, że powinno się tego słuchać w zimie, idąc samotnie przez pola lub szczyty zasypane śniegiem i coś w tym jest. I aby tego było mało, to po prostu dobrze to mi siadło, a nie jestem miłośnikiem takiej muzyki.

  5. Theophonos, album "Ashes in the Huron River" - polecajka, stąd z Fediverse. Tu powiem krótko - jeśli ktoś lubi Deathspell Omegę, to tym zespołem na pewno powinien się zainteresować.

  1. Obsequiae - fajne to. Nie powiedziałbym może, że słuchałem jak urzeczony, ale zwykle takiego "dworskiego" BM nie lubię, a tutaj nawet miło się słuchało. Z tego, co zauważyłem, ten zespół daje sporo instrumentalnych, właśnie takich dworskich utworów, ale gdy pojawia się wokal, to jest już to normalny black metal. Tylko instrumenty starają się nadać nieco innego klimatu niż jakiś tam szatan.

  2. Band-Maid, album "Epic Narratives" - i cyk, zmiana klimatu. Band-Maid to nie jest mój ulubiony japoński zespół złożony z samych kobiet (palmę pierwszeństwa dla mnie dzielą tutaj Lovebites i Nemophila), ale to jest bardziej rockowe niż myślicie. Miło spędziłem czas przy tej płycie i nawet się nie wstydziłem przed samym sobą.

  3. Ripped to Shreds, album "Sanshi" - to też Japonia, ale już panowie i death metal. Death metal, który stara się być czymś więcej niż po prostu schematycznym waleniem w gary, gitary i mikrofon. Nie jest to może granie z topki, ale słychać, że muzycy bardzo nie chcieli być po prostu kolejnym zespołem grającym DM, których pełno na scenie i trudno je odrożnić od siebie.

  4. The Baseballs, album "That's Alright" - uwielbiam ten zespół, który coveruje wiele znanych utworów w stylu rockabilly, ale mają też własne tytuły. To taki typ grania, gdzie słucha się płyty w tle, buja się i tupie nóżką, ale potem nie pamięta żadnego utworu. Jeśli nie znacie, a nie jest straszny Wam stary, klasyczny rock'n'roll i klimat USA (mimo że panowie są Niemcami) - warto spróbować, świetna stylistyka.

  1. Arkona, album "Stella Pandora" - trochę rozmawialiśmy o tym zespole z @maciek33 i powiem tak. Słychać tutaj, że to Arkona, ale mam wrażenie, że słuchałem jednego utworu w sześciu różnych wariantach. Może powinienem to odtworzyć na trochę innym sprzęcie (bo faktycznie leciałem z głośników, a nie na słuchawkach), ale jest to trochę wtórne, choć w tej swojej wtórności nadal interesujące. Początek drugiego utworu nieco mnie zaskoczył, bo już myślałem, że panowie poszli w jakieś dziwne plumkanie. Także to nadal niezła płyta, ale rozumiem głosy osób, które na nią będą narzekać, bo nie ma tutaj niczego specjalnego.

  2. Odium Humani Generis, album "Międzyczas" - dużo osób zaczęło pisać o tej płycie, a ja, głupi, nie znałem nawet zespołu. A szkoda, bo panowie grają bardzo fajnie. To nie jest taki agresywny BM, który rozrywa nas na strzępy, tylko taki... filozoficzny? Nie jest to las czy jakieś górskie szczyty, bardziej melachnolijne, choć nadal mocne granie w jakichś opuszczonych halach produkcyjnych. Trochę mi sie skojarzyła Furia i choć raczej nie można przystawić tych dwóch zespołów do siebie, to nie mogę oprzeć się wrażeniu, że to ten sam poziom podejścia do opowiadania o problemach w muzyce.

  3. Zespoły Midnight, Shackles, Lautsturmer - tutaj pojedziemy zbiorczo, bo właściwie wszystkie te kapele to mocne, agresywnie grające twory. Midnight to taki black'n'roll lub black/speed metal, Shackles to absolutna rzeźba i napierdzielanie w cokolwiek się da z potężnym growlem, a Lautsturmer to skandynawskie szybkie darcie ryja, które może sie podobać.
