I hate this trend. I dont really care about the game itself, I just hate this thing that publishers do when they delay a game purely because they want to min-max sales.
Another way to look at it is to say that if it comes out and gets absolutely killed then you’ll likely never see a sequel, regardless of how good a game it is. Look at Titanfall 2.
I just hated how he would talk about Fable 2 when promoting Fable 3. I still remember one article I read 12+ years ago, the interviewer was asking him about how fable 3 would compare to Fable 2 & peter molyneux scoffed saying something like “God dont play that. Fable 3 is what I envisioned” and then he went on about how he worked to get the idea of touching others into Fable 3. The whole hand holding thing he kept talking up about how it was the most amazing feature to implement.
I’ve played it for two hours or so today and so far loving it! 30fps is noticeable, but much better than other games and not an issue to me while I usually can’t stand it. It all feels immense and very fun, I enjoy exploring and looting and talking to people.
Graphics are a bit underwhelming to be honest.
Also I couldn’t spot a minimap for stations to find eg shops, unless I’m missing something.
The fast travel feels perfect to me, not an issue like others described.
