thejoker954,

Yeah i get and play the free games from there, but they don’t seem to want to do more than the bare minimum for the storefront so I won’t purchase anything through them.

thejoker954,

I guess if you never expected it to actually release?

thejoker954,

Wut? It literally just got a major update a month or 2 ago. And it’s got great reviews.

How the hell would it be considered “dead” by any metric?

Stupid clickbate ‘journalism’

thejoker954,

I wasn’t aware Palword was supposed to be a game as a service.

To me game as a service are games like world or warcraft or apex legends.
Their whole point is to get money by microtransactions and recurring payments using constant new content to keep players engaged.

thejoker954,

I mean he’s pretty much been on board with it all along. I’m pretty sure he’s been involved in most of the sequels in some way.

thejoker954,

I hope they actually deepen the gameplay.

I really loved the 1st SoD, but found 2 to be lacking considering the Microsoft backing.

I really want better base mechanics/customization.

Also better NPCs across the board.

Having them interact with each other and the world more would be nice.

thejoker954,

This please.

Yes pretty graphics are nice, but I have never understood why it seems like all effort to make better game ‘AI’ just completely stopped.

Like I get getting game ai to act ‘real’ is/was virtually impossible, but it’s possible to fake it enough to make it enjoyable and has been for a long while and yet is always an afterthought.
