ngwoo,

I guess my plan to hold out for the Pro to see if the regular console drops in price isn’t going to work.

ngwoo,

People can barely find anyone to play with globally over the internet. It wouldn’t work as a lan game.

ngwoo,

If it wasn’t for hundreds of people likely losing their jobs it would be really funny that Sony’s greedy, cynical attempts to cash in on the live service fad keep failing

ngwoo,

I’m saying that if there aren’t enough players to sustain a multiplayer game globally you’re not going to find people to play with locally.

ngwoo,

Really interested in this but would rather wait for a full release - just wanted to thank you for posting on Lemmy as well as Reddit. Everything about this project seems so sincere and I’m not used to that with new apps

ngwoo,

More expensive than WoW and FFXIV, and those games let you have a bunch of characters on the same sub. Amazing business move

Valve lifts NDA on Deadlock, streaming and talking about the game is now allowed. angielski

Not sure where the official announcement of this happened, but videos and discussions of the game are now finally allowed. The game is still invite-only, but expect to start seeing it all over the place now. Popular streamers are already jumping into it....

ngwoo,

It’s likely that Concord’s lifetime peak will be lower than Deadlock’s closed beta peak

ngwoo,

Within months of Craven’s introduction of Banks, Craven claimed Banks had been hospitalized after dropping a KitchenAid mixer on her foot, according to both an anonymous former business associate of Craven’s I spoke to, and my own past conversations with Craven. Several hours later, her leg was allegedly amputated, and nearly 48 hours after the first operation, her other leg was amputated as well.

How did nobody realize this person was lying or fake? Double amputation from a broken foot?

ngwoo,

It sucks because Windblown looked cool but now I don’t want to support it.

Can anyone suggest some good co-op games for two people? angielski

Hello all! My buddy and I finally finished up Baldur’s Gate 3 this week and we are not left with a giant co-op game shaped whole in our hearts. It was such an incredible experience and it was truly even more fun running through it together. We are excited to hop into another game, but we have no idea what to play. We’ve...

ngwoo,

Stardew Valley has really good multiplayer now. Might scratch some of that Minecraft and Terraria itch.

ngwoo,

I didn’t care for the game much at launch and bounced off it, great idea but none of the systems were very developed. Combat specifically was very watered down.

Is it worth coming back now that it’s had a bunch of updates?

ngwoo,

I came into it off the high of Hades so it felt pretty empty to me.

ngwoo,

I’ll check it out again then, thanks.

ngwoo,

Valve is probably perfectly happy with just making sure proton compatibility is good. They don’t expect developers to change their whole workflow to cater to the Deck, that’s why they’ve done so much work with proton.

We need more games like The Stanley Parable, so I'm making one! Please share ideas and suggestions about what you want to see in this type of game! (store.steampowered.com) angielski

Hello guys, I’ve noticed a lot of people here are hungry for more games like the Stanley Parable. After playing the O.G. game and the Deluxe edition I’ve found myself wanting more of this. More of these meta, narrator led, weird humour games! I started work on my called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse). You...

ngwoo,

Yeah voice clarity is a so important. The narrator in Stanley Parable was just so pleasant to listen to.

ngwoo,

I think the most realistic alternative is to just have an ‘earliest end-of-life date’ plainly visible at the time of purchase. Keeping these games online forever isn’t feasible, but shutting down something people paid for with the expectation of continuous service isn’t good either. Just make it clear how long the developers WILL support the game for, at the very minimum, and let people make their decision based on that. And mandate refunds for any live service game that doesn’t last as long as promised.

ngwoo,

Lemmy overall has somehow managed to become an even more negative place to post than Reddit
