SolidShake,

I purchased it full price and dont mind. I enjoy the game and the story.

SolidShake,

I’m a huge fan of the yellows. Reminds me of most of my time in socom 2 and bad company 2

SolidShake,

The legion go s with steam OS should replace it 10000% but I don’t know if it will. There will never be a steam deck 2 and the steam deck is already outdated and slow.

SolidShake,

Legion go will have one for mouse. Not great for games I’d imagine. But I’d also imagine 99% of people use the joysticks on a steam deck when playing a game.

But, software usually dies before hardware does.

SolidShake,

Well that’s cool. I heard just last year they weren’t going to and instead just make steam os more available. I’m not going to scrounge the internet for one video I saw several months ago sorry.

But what’s weird is when I look for steam deck 2 I get contradicting info like “steam deck several years away” and in the exact same particle “possibly late 2025”

SolidShake,

It can “run” everything you mean. I at games that either struggle to stay above 30 or look worse than switch graphics. So because a game can run doesn’t mean it’s viably playable to other people. I think the aim should be medium settings for new games at a steady 40fps for the next deck. But for now we have to rely on Linux optimization.

SolidShake,

When you are competing with PCs and home consoles. <30fps is slow in my opinion. Or. Turn the graphics super low and get maybe ~40? The CPU/GPU is subpar The ram is okay for most games, but soon 32 will be the new required standard. The ssd makes apple seem generous…

I’m not bashing on it, I enjoy the steam deck, but if someone were to say they want to buy one right now I’d suggest waiting for legion go s or “the next steam deck” a few years from now. Unless valve cuts the cost of the steam deck by at least $100 each model, it’s not worth it anymore. There are dozens of better handhelds that you can install steam os on instead.

Note. I do also realize the steam deck community is hardcore shilly and everything I said will be read but not actually enter a brain and just passed off. Which is fine. Like I said I like the steam deck overall.

SolidShake,

It’s going to be an obvious remake

SolidShake,

You’re not wrong. A 4070ti or a new 5000 series Nvidia costs twice as much as a PS5 pro alone. And not many PCs can have Ray tracing at 60fps on 4k for under $500

SolidShake,

Don’t buy them?

SolidShake,

Why? You have to login to Xbox for Xbox published games. You have to login into blizzard to play Diablo or overwatch fron steam, you have to log into EA launching from steam or Microsoft.

So why does a PSN account make you “untrusting”? You just want to cheat on those games or what?

SolidShake,

That’s not how it works but okay 👍

SolidShake,

I buy games on epic. I have never purchased a game or have installed gog. Idk get a boner over denuvo removal as denuvo doesn’t effect the games I play

SolidShake,

How do you download the game without Internet?

SolidShake,

I have the ff9 remaster in my Logitech g cloud

SolidShake,

I’d say it’s a 9/10 game as well. Enjoyed it very much.

SolidShake,

Why can’t steam just go back to the greenlight system. It was SUCH a better storefront then. Now it’s just a cesspool of bullshit games and bullshit “reviews” I rarely use it anymore.

SolidShake,

It didn’t gatekeep, it let people vote. And calling someone who makes a fury hentai game isn’t an “indie developer”. It’s a scammer.

SolidShake,

That doesn’t make sense since the community as a whole would have to support a game before it hit the steam store. So… idk what you’re talking about. Grenlight was like a “hey guys I made this game where you play a stick man and you do a gem puzzle to unlock a flash animation naked furry girl!” No one would allow that to be greenlot, therefore it would never be on steam

After greenlight every fucking pos on the planet has made some kind of $2 scam game making Nintendo’s eShop look normal.

No greenlight = anyone and everyone can put anything on steam and sell it.

SolidShake,

That’s not how it worked

SolidShake,

Doubtful

SolidShake,

Yeah this still happens except they sell puzzle games now.

SolidShake,

EA has EA games… I don’t get the jab?

SolidShake,

What games do you play?

I also want to k kw which games you’re talking about lol. Besides sports games. Because the last 10 years was like … battlefield 2042, dragon age and maybe Andromeda was in that timeline. Maybe anthem, a fun and unique game ruined by the community.

Or are you just mad that EA games have black people and women in them?

SolidShake,

Subjective. Unbound was a pretty good nfs game. People just didn’t like the art style. The Sims 4 is just the Sims but f2p/pay to do anything fun. Battlefield 2042 gets overhated. It’s exactly the same as bf4 but better movement, more plauers, more modes, private servers, customer games. But what did people cry about? “HerOes WItH aBilItiEs” but those “abilities” are so insignificant that it literally doesn’t matter. People just cry so they can cry. The community ruins battlefield more than the devs do. I might be biased on BF because I’ve played an enjoyed literally every battlefield game made to date. Including their f2p one and console exclusives on PS2. Which means I’ve also seen how the community acts for each game. And the trending thing for BF is “the last game was the best this new one sucks” so when the next bf comes out. People will say " man I wish it was like 2042, that one was so good". The best example is when V came out. People hated BF1 because " no one wants to fight on trenches" and then V came out " women weren’t in WW2. i thought this game was all about being a war simulator" and make BFV is " the good game" now.

And I’ll admit on some games like battlefront 1 was a disaster, 2 had to be fixed.

Need for speed micro slot machine (payback?) was a fucking joke.

Burnout ended decades ago, idk why that was even brought up lol.

SolidShake,

Dang! I have watched 0 trailers and didn’t play the open beta or watch anything other than the first ever teaser. I’m going in blind as hell.

EA releases another shameless IP flip with Sims 1/2 Legacy angielski

EA has done it again. They just released Sims 1 and 2 Legacy Collection on Steam, and it’s nothing but a Shameless IP flip. Many players who are really passionate about old games have played Sims 1 and 2 and even Sims 3 on PC on Windows 11, even up to this day. It’s a little bit more challenging because they are all on discs...

SolidShake,

How is it a scam? It’s $30 for the game and all DLCs of $40 for both games and all DLCs. No one said it was remaster or a remake. No one said it would have extra content. It’s a 25th anniversary sale. That’s all. Everyone knew that ahead of time. If you own the games no one is like “oh well you have to buy this version actually, your old game won’t work”

And sims 2 is still a better deal than sims 4, even being free.

I think you’re just mad at EA just to be mad at EA. Like on of those forced Ubisoft haters. Doing it for clout.

SolidShake,

The issue is probably denuvo related. Or people can’t get it to run because they pirated it not know it has denuvo and are trying to playing off as a bad launch lmao.

SolidShake,

The product does work. Wdym? Lots of people got it and are playing it.

SolidShake,

Thanks for informing me. I heard that through other people on reddit and here as well.

SolidShake,

I filter my reviews for over 10 hours on steam

SolidShake,

But I also lose out on fake reviews like “👍 game” or “👎 ea” which is A LOT of fucking people. I also skip out on “no one will see this so I’m gay” or whatever. People use steam reviews as a social media app now to get likes and awards. It’s fucking trash

SolidShake,

I would imagine the game is at the highest possible graphic fidelity for consoles, and also the scale of the game will have a factor.

Remember. Gta V came out 12 years ago. It didn’t run at 60fps on any console until the PS5

SolidShake,

That is incorrect. They added a bunch to that $10 upgrade.

SolidShake,

Not really. There’s a reason the PS5 $10 upgrade isn’t compatible with the older versions in terms of online play. They updated a lot of graphics and models plus the 60fps. There are a lot of comparison videos on YouTube if you’re interested in even looking. The most noticable are like, damage models in cars is better, smoke looks more realistic and was redone, fire looks and acts better. Lighting is much better. Etc.

SolidShake,

Yeah. I have a PS5 and I heard gta 6 won’t launch on PC right away, but then I heard it is coming to PC lol. So idk. I’m almost hitting 40 and playing on my couch and tv has been more fun lately. But sometimes I just know a game will run much better on my PC.

What I should do is put my current build into a super small box with an external PSU and just install steam os and hook it up to my tv

SolidShake,

I’ve tried to like these games so much since the first one came out back in the day. I’ve played all of them, multiple times but can never go last one hour. I don’t get it. I should like these games!

SolidShake,

Why would that matter? Pirate the original if you want. Denuvo barely effects performance. That claim is so over exaggerated.
