Rhynoplaz,

Or, what if their healthcare continued to be free so they wouldn’t have an incentive to find a way to live on $700 month?

I know one of those young men playing video games, and he REALLY wants a job, but no matter how he works the math, the medication that keeps him alive costs more than what he’d make. So, his only choice is to budget around permanent poverty or die.

Rhynoplaz,

Right? I feel bad that it’s beautiful outside and we’re all inside playing games and streaming TV, but every time we leave the house as a family, it ends up costing me at least $100.

Rhynoplaz,

Honestly, you should get the OG Switch.

It does everything you’re looking for in the Switch 2, but without most of the downsides.

If you haven’t had one already, you have a lot of great games to catch up on, which you could buy with the money you’d save by not buying a Switch 2.

What are your favourite single-player games without much fluff, grinding or difficulty spikes? angielski

Hello, in the recent years I find myself willing to spend much less time and energy on games, but I do still enjoy them. Oftentimes I end up quitting a new game I tried out relatively early on, because I’m encountering some block, grind, non-optional boring side quest, empty open world, uninteresting clutter or details that I...

Rhynoplaz,

If you haven’t already tried Oblivion Remastered, that’s a no brainier.

Avowed was pretty straight forward with a decent story. It’s more linear than Skyrim, and sometimes I had to reload a save because I walked into a situation I wasn’t ready for, but all in all, I made quick consistent progress.

I played both on Gamepass.

Also, there’s no shame in turning that difficulty bar down when it’s available. I’m in the same boat as you. I don’t want to master the game, I just want to enjoy it.

Rhynoplaz,

This is fraud, right?

“Development is under control, we just need €100,000.”

After collecting €300,000: Whoopsies! No refunds.

Rhynoplaz,

Just the other day my brother came over and we played OG Bubble Bobble. Two guys over 40 sinking a few hours into an adorable little co-op game. We got to the final boss and called it a night.

I picked it back up the next day, eventually beat that boss and texted my brother to let him know we beat the game.

Rhynoplaz,

I remember trying to convince my mom that $200 for an SNES is significantly less expensive in the long run than quarters at the arcade. 😂

Rhynoplaz,

If I recall, Dark Cloud surprised me. I think I got it on a whim for cheap and ended up sinking quite a bit of time into it.

Rhynoplaz,

It’s the only racing game I’ve ever been good at. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Rhynoplaz,

Good news, Ferb! I know what we’re going to do this weekend! I don’t know much of anything about this one, which is usually best, but I’ve heard the name mentioned many times, and your “review” just convinced me to give it a shot.

I don’t get much time to play, but being able to try out gems I otherwise wouldn’t have spent money on really makes Gamepass worth while for me.

Rhynoplaz,

I was able to get the first free days in tonight.

Is it normal to just run out of doors long before you run out of footsteps, or am I just really bad at layout design?

Already solved a few early puzzles and I’m hitting down what I hope are clues as I find them.

How do you keep track of what games you have played over the years? angielski

Hiya, just newly thought about something: wouldn't be nice if there was a simple way of checking what games you have played over the years, a way to keep track of wether you liked the game or not, how much time you spent playing it etc.. Currently, personally i only check steam library for those kinda details. But it would be...

Rhynoplaz,

I find this post interesting. Are you asking because you’re curious about statistical information like “you played this game 28 hours more than that game” or just so you remember if you liked a game or not?

I understand the first one, but I can’t even comprehend the second. As soon as I see a screenshot from a game, my brain goes back to playing it and the general emotions it triggers. I might not remember the details about the game, but I’ll remember if it was fun, frustrating, boring etc. So I think it’s really strange that someone could completely forget playing a game.

I don’t mean any offense or anything. I know I’m some kind of neurodivergent, and I find the differences in how we each think very interesting.

Rhynoplaz,

I don’t see Goldeneye on your list.

Do you think Square Enix should remake other Final Fantasy entries? angielski

Seems like a goldmine of content for them to work on for the next decade+. Plenty of people will never experience these worlds or stories due to the turn-based combat, so giving them the Remake treatment could be the only way an audience ever finds them....

Rhynoplaz,

Whenever someone asks if a game should be remade, I always say no. I’d rather get a new game!

That being said, I spent the entire weekend playing Oblivion.

Rhynoplaz,

I’m not a big Nintendo fan, because of their pricing and lawsuits, but I’m siding with them on this one.

If you can’t afford a Switch 2, don’t buy one.

This is coming from someone who really couldn’t afford one right now. We wait until we can or the price goes down (oh wait. Nintendo doesn’t do that )

Rhynoplaz,

Right, but I would consider that being able to afford one.

StarCitizen skins worth it ? (starlti.com) angielski

Lately, I’ve been diving into a few different space simulation games, and one of the ones that stands out to me is Star Citizen. The game is massive and offers so much for players to explore, from vast planets to epic space battles. What’s really interesting is how many people treat it almost like a second life, collecting...

Rhynoplaz,

Is that REAL money? As in, hundreds of REAL dollars for a spaceship skin?

Abso-fucking-lutley not worth it.

Are there any games you don't play as it was intended to be played? If so, what game and how? angielski

I know I remember seeing some people talk about how nice some of the environments in Hitman were, and that they’d just walk around as a tourist from time to time, treating it like a walking simulator/virtual tourism thing instead of the stealth assassination game it is. Curious about other things like that, where you play a...

Rhynoplaz,

I played the story in GTA a few times.

Rhynoplaz,

I have that card.

Are people still playing with Fallen Empires? That was almost 3 decades ago!

Also, what are the odds this is an April Fools joke?

Rhynoplaz,

I know this isn’t what you’re looking for, but you reminded me of Beamrider. We played the shit out of that one back in the day!

Rhynoplaz,

I think you’ve found it. Give us some clues!

How long ago? What platform? Genre?

Rhynoplaz,

I lost.

Rhynoplaz,

Could it be Aztec?

Rhynoplaz,

That’s usually how these things play out.

Same thing happened to me when I tried watching Thundercats again. Oh boy.

Rhynoplaz,

I’m very disappointed that they didn’t call it DigiCon.

Rhynoplaz,

Yes! This is my standard for a good platformer.

I think being the “free” game that comes with the system hurt it’s reputation. We all got bored of it, but going back to it after playing some terrible platformers really shows you how great it really is.

Rhynoplaz,

Sigma before the kids started saying it. 😂

I'm doing the challenge of top comment on X. Go check out the post! angielski

Only terms are that the game you ask me to do can’t be multiplayer or Minecraft! Go check out the post now to vote! The challenge is taken from X comments and if the post gets under 10K views and under 1K likes the challenge won’t be done! x.com/CatCompany12/status/1897643018057908598

Rhynoplaz,

Please stop creating click bait posts asking us to go to other sites without context.

Rhynoplaz,

Do you really think this is helping?

Rhynoplaz,

I skimmed through about a minute or so of two of your videos.

The text bubble thing you do is alright, but I’d add to it and clean it up. Stop recording typos. Edit them out of the video. The time it takes for me to read what you’re typing, and then delete your mistakes and try again makes me lose interest real fast, and it looks sloppy.

If you are physically able to speak, you should. There is no human connection. I was just watching a programming screen while music played in the background. That may be useful if I’m looking for a video to walk me through something I’m trying to do, but I wouldn’t subscribe or even remember your name if there’s no connection to you as a person. Talk through what you are doing as you do it. If you are unable to speak, maybe you can find a text to voice to speak for you.

Best of luck to you and your channel!

Are modern Final Fantasy games bad?

I started at 7 and looked forwards to every iteration of the series since then, 8 was more of the same with a weird story, 9 was cute and a good throwback, then I went back to 6 which was a masterpiece, 10 was emotional and beautiful, 12 wasn’t great but had cool worldbuilding, being a FFT fan....

Rhynoplaz,

I gave up on them after X.

I went back and played 4,5,&6. Highly recommend!

Rhynoplaz,

Cheating in Fortnite gets you banned.

Cheating in Diablo gets you a White House consultant position.

I’m getting mixed signals here.

Sparta, do games angielski

The era of traditional video games is just over for Gen Z. They aren’t just playing games anymore, instead, they are rewriting the rules. Forget about what we used to play with static storylines and pre-designed worlds.

Rhynoplaz,

That’s not new. I had a Game Genie!

What are your favorite board games? I'm looking for games that are satisfying and lead to a sense of accomplishment or fulfillment or connection. angielski

No games that lead to players being pissed at other players, even outside of the confines of the game. I’ve had that happen with, for example, Secret Hitler, so no Secret Hitler....

Rhynoplaz,

I don’t hear about this one often but it is always the first game I bust out for newbies.

Camel Up!

Players place bets on little camels that run around the track. The turns move quickly, people love gambling, and you some strategy will help you win, but it’s random enough that everybody has a chance at coming out ahead.

Someone might get the bet you had your eye on, but there’s no direct “attacks” on other players.

Rhynoplaz,

We have a rule at my house: Never Monopoly.

It really is the worst.

Rhynoplaz,

I’m not REAL into these, but every now and then I find one (usually much lighter than like) that clicks with me and I dump a few days into it before I get bored.

Dead cells was fun.

Children of Morta was pretty cool as you have a whole family to level up.

My son was playing Skul that looked fun.

Rhynoplaz,

My brother just bought his first 3DS. It’s blowing his mind! 😂

Rhynoplaz,

He’s just savvy enough to be dangerous! So he bought it pre-hacked and loaded with software.

Rhynoplaz,

It’s just unnatural!

what was the last game you played in 2024? angielski

Happy new year guys!😀 Just now, it hit midnight here, and it’s officially 2025. I was playing Pennon and Battle, and I realized it’s the last game I played in 2024!! That gave it a different kind of meaning. Now I’m curious, what was the last game you played in 2024?

Do you have any recommendations for casual games? angielski

After starting work, I feel so tired every day, so I just want to play some casual games. Recently, I’m playing survivor-like games like Vampire Survivors and Darkchaser. They’re simple and fun, but after a while, they get a bit boring. So, I’m looking for other casual game recommendations, preferably single-player games...

Rhynoplaz,

Here’s a slightly different spin on “computer games”

I have Boardgamearena.com in the background of my browser. I often have a few board games going at once. You take your turn, and it alerts you when it’s your turn again. There are also games you can play solo if you don’t wait to wait around for others.

Rhynoplaz,

The last few games I was looking forward to have all been pretty disappointing.
