Rai,

GameStop has sucked for a very long time and I’m astounded that so many people holding out hope for a meme stock to GO TO THE MOOOON again think it’s going to last.

Support local stores, death to GameStop

Rai,

That’s fair! I was part of the initial explosion of the stock, and sold the same day. The cult of GameStop loonies is still holding out hope to this day… it’s wild.

Rai,

I liked BZ, but I LOVED the original. The original is an 8/10 for me, and BZ is a 6/10 (not in shitty game reviewer numbers, for me a 5/10 is a game I thought was fun to play. And 8/10 is insanely good and almost no games get a 10.)

I’m interested to see what they do next!

Rai,

I’m hella on your side, “compared to what” is a fucking stupid question. I love Skyrim and it’s clunkier than old style Monster Hunter games. Mods help but dang… it clunky. It’s only NOT clunky when doing archery the whole time, which is why everyone does that. The arching is good… also with mods… and in VR.

Even Fallout 4’s combat is less clunky and it’s CLUNK AS HELL

Rai,

cringe

Rai,

THAT’s your response?

That’s very funny.

Rai,

EZ wishlist, thank you for posting here or I would have never heard of this! Take the other commenter’s advice about not sending out tons of review copies to “curators” who will resell your game. My partner and I will both be picking this up when it’s out!

Rai,

Can I ask what your first game is?

Rai,

I hadn’t bought many switch games before the Yuzu stuff, and never will again. I’ll forever be playing them at 1440p/60+FPS on my computer for free.

Rai,

last good

Aite I loved Morrowind, it’s one of my top games of all time but both Oblivion and Skrim are stellar. SkrimVR with mods is insanely fantastic.

Rai,

I fully agree, like what the fuck

I never played Starfield and Morrowind is so amazing but

Morrowind will NEVER be better than modded Skyrim, that the fuck, it’s so magical.

Rai,

Completely agree. I didn’t want to be hostile like I would be if I was back on Reddit but that’s fucking insane bullshit that’s insanely wrong lawl

Rai,

Based and level-headed-pilled

(I’m sorry for my shitpost comment but I mean it)

Rai,

1k hours of demo, many doing Highlander tourneys

Thank you, unemployment

New FPS Built Using Doom Tech Is Better Than Most AAA Shooters (kotaku.com) angielski

Things aren’t looking good for me. I’m a few levels into Selaco, a new FPS out now on Steam, and I’m stuck behind a bar as a group of sci-fi soldiers unload their rifles and shotguns into my hiding spot. I’m also low on health. So yeah, a bad spot to be in. I take a deep breath and try something....

Rai,

When PUBG was just coming out, it was absolute jank city and I LOVED IT. I was driving a motorcycle and my partner was in the sidecar, and we were suddenly jettisoned into space, apropos of nothing… flat ground.

We laughed but it was also a bit sad, as only about eight other people were left.

We fall down from space and land… and we don’t explode. We don’t even bounce. The motorcycle is on fire. We have taken no damage. We get off the motorcycle and walk away, laughing our butts off.

Rai,

What’s this exchange from? I feel like I’ve seen this somewhere, but maybe not?

Rai,

Thank you! I haven’t seen that since the late 90s. Chris Farley was such an incredible man.

Rai,

Is that the whole thing? I thought it would be a long screen with JUST Dolby. That’s like two seconds and has other credits on it. I don’t understand folks’ rage over that.

Rai,

I cannot believe how much stuff is already in the game. It’s baffling and incredibly ambitious. I love it.

Rai,

I’ve even moved all my Switch playing to PC hahaha

Rai,

I was using Switch Pro on my computer until I got some Dualsense controllers. Loved it. Horrible D-pad compared to the dualsense though!

Rai,

LOVE the Duke even though it feels like I’m holding an XL pizza

Rai,

I feel it’s more comfy, but YMMV. I DEFINITELY love the triggers and haptics. I wouldn’t play Returnal or Pacific Drive without one, and I’m so happy the computer versions support both!

Rai,

Same experience here! It runs perfectly and I haven’t had a single issue.

Rai,

Pacific Drive is EXCELLENT and the adaptive triggers and haptics on a Dualsense controller work on the PC version. They’re implemented INCREDIBLY, especially the brake pedal. It’s wild.

Edit: oh I see why you’re being downvoted—OP mentioned Pacific Drive in their post hahaha

Rai,

I’m an Orpheus subscriber, which fixes al that for free!

RIP what.cd

Rai,

I love Enshrouded but I do love Valheim more.

Rai,

The Saturn was the equivalent of like 750USD in today’a money. Wild.

Baldur's Gate 3 actors reveal the darker side of success fuelled by AI voice cloning (www.eurogamer.net)

The cat is out of the bag and despite many years of warning before this and similar technology became widely available, nobody was really prepared for it - and everyone is solely acting in their own best interests (or what they think their best interests to be). I think the biggest failure is that despite there being warnings...

Rai,

Works in Voyager now! Didn’t used to, but was updated recently.

Rai,

The thumb pad/joystick is not analog, it’s a standard directional pad when you pop the joystick off. I use it for four extra buttons (usually menu buttons)

That said, been using hand keyboards forEVER (Tartarus 2, Orbweaver chroma, Orbweaver, Nostromo, and some belkin one that’s basically the Nostromo) and they’re AMAZING.

Rai,

Apex’s aim assist is laser aimbot. It’s insane.

Rai,

I don’t! I wish I did, but to be honest it wouldn’t feel good to play with a controller like tusk and your thumb. I’ve played SNES games with my thumb and it felt… wrong.

Still, these hand keyboards are SO GOOD. I wish lore companies made them. The ergonomics of the Tartarus 2 are perfect, and it’s so nice to have one big profile and not have to fuck with keybinds in-game, ever.

Rai,

Oh! That refers to the keys. They’re like… pressure sensitive on the new one, which is neat! I have the Tartarus v2, which has standard keys. The thumb stick is a standard D-Pad on em both, though.

Rai,

FULLY agree. You can pop it off and use the DPad as a… DPad, though, which is what I’ve always done.

…except for the Orbweaver Chroma, which has a non-removable 8-direction joystick, which is VERY dumb.

Rai,

I nominate Daniel Mullins for III god award!

Rai,

Could be much longer with Empress gone. But we can have hope.

Rai,

Couldn’t agree more.

Rai,

Denuvo. Still shit, but less bad shit.

Rai,

Play The Hex next! Go in blind, and don’t mind the graphics—they’ll make sense.

It’s by the creator of Inscryption and I think it’s his finest work yet.

Rai,

Pony island is a hoot! I knocked it out in a couple hours.

I SAVORED The Hex though. After 50-some hours of Inscryption I thought there’s no way The Hex could compare… I have a lot more play time in Inscryption, but overall I thought The Hex was fucking brilliant. Hard recommend to anyone who likes Mullins’ games.

Star Citizen's first-person shooting is getting backpack-reloading, dynamic crosshairs, procedural recoil, and other improvements to 'bring the FPS combat to AAA standard' (www.pcgamer.com) angielski

Well, I mean, I would have launched it first (as an AAA game), but I’m no game developer. 🤷 And neither are they, from the looks of it. Good at perpetually raking in money for himself and his family, though!
