I’m a weirdo, so Massive Chalice.

It has a strange high-concept premise where you are an immortal ruler defending against a monstrous army that only attacks every decade or so. Any surviving individual squad member will only be able to go on a handful of missions before aging out, so you are also managing familial bloodlines to birth new soldiers, while controlling for genetic and social traits that get passed down. I love the uniqueness and big ideas. It’s far from perfect, but you asked for favorite not the best.

Hey, the bi flag similarity got me to open the post when the girl in the arcade hadn’t. Wish I’d been reading these the whole time though, great stuff! I’ll definitely check out future posts, no matter which image you use. :)

Huh, so it’s taking place in 2 AD instead of 2077. Weird direction to take.

Required mod for any Oblivion playthrough. Vilja is great.

The Gentrification of Video Game History (felipepepe.medium.com) angielski

[…]during the late 90s and early 00s, Taiwan was a powerhouse of game development, arguably only behind the US & Japan. Is this a video game specific phenomenon? Just an example, how many of an American “Top 100 Greatest Movies of All Time” are from India?

Loved that game! It would be awesome on a phone as long as they don’t to shit like locking extra food behind microtransactions. 😬

Lots of good suggestions already, but what first came to my mind is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I’m not even into Final Fantasy and have only played a few tactical RPGs, but I fell into FFTA hard when it came out. The battle system was fun, with a little twist that there’s random laws you have to follow each fight (e.g. no attacking with staves) that can get a character arrested and taken out of the action after a warning. Nice music, cute art style, and a pretty good story as I recall.

I was surprised to see Hades 2, as it’s still in early access. Not that it doesn’t deserve it.
