If it’s not 60 or higher, I can’t stand it. But it has to be consistent. Even constant fluctuations between 120-140 are felt even if not necessarily seen. I generally just try to get 60 since my display is 60hz. What’s annoying is that I could be doing 1440p at 60 with my specs, but for some reason setting the display to that specific resolution locks it to 30hz.

The display is 4k, and has 60hz available at 4k and every other resolution. My PC can’t handle 4k @ 60 for most things, though.

Realism should never get in the way of fun.

Yes, things fall apart/break over time or with excessive use. But it still takes way longer IRL for that to happen than in a game with these mechanics. Some of them are really bad and the best equipment lasts for maybe 15 minutes. Which is total bullshit. I don’t want to stop the fun part of the game to go back to base and fix my tools every 15 minutes.

I know a few other games that have that kind of reload mechanic and it really makes me wonder why I am not just saving the magazines to use later.

Also: I literally just got Helldivers 2 yesterday. Maybe I’ll see you in-game sometime. 😃

The whole description of the game when they announced it made it sound like a mod. I was shocked to see it’s an official Fromsoft game. I do not have high hopes for it.

Even when you were buying games on physical media, you didn’t own the software itself. You just owned a disc with the software on it.

Cyberpunk games would be fine, these rules are about forcing players to watch an ad to experience parts of the game, like when a mobile game makes you watch an ad before you can continue playing after beating a level or when you can watch an ad to get more coins/gems or whatever. Having ads in the game itself isn’t being banned.

Then… Don’t play ranked?

Ranked is specifically for the competitive crowd. If you’re just playing for fun, stick to the casual/quickplay mode. 🤦‍♂️

If you’re getting this shit in casual mode, just point out to the dude whining about his team that they should go play ranked instead of expecting people to give a single fuck about winning in casual.

I have to assume they’re targeting 30fps because that would be using all the bells and whistles like raytracing and running at 4k on the consoles; which are unlikely to be able to achieve 60fps or higher with all that shit on.

And, as they have done with literally every single GTA since 3: It likely won’t release on PC at the same time. It will come 1-2 full years later and when it does, will have more features and run at a higher frame rate.
