Loving the new Dune game so far. Impressed by the graphics and details 😊 Highly recommend if you like the Dune story. Hope they manage to tweak close combat though, it could be better.
Today’s game is FBC: Firebreak. I usually avoid buying games Day 1, but i watched the Gameplay trailers and was honestly really excited. I bought a copy for me and a friend, and i had my brother drop in for player 3. Honestly really enjoyed it. A lot of people have been saying that it has a lack of Tutorials, and yeah, i get...
I’ve been interested in trying this game out ever since they posted some early gameplay footage over a year ago. Looks kind of like a mix between Star Citizen (in and out of ship gameplay), Helldivers (4 player co-op/PvE missions), and Sea of Thieves.
I used to play RTS games like Warhammer, then got into Heroes of Might and Magic and its spin-offs like Pennon and Battle. I’ve also played XCOM 2 and Age of Wonders 4. Any other must-play series you’d recommend?...
The game now requires an always-online connection, even if you play offline. Just tried it myself by setting Steam to offline mode and you can never ‘Ready Up’ into a map. This was not the case before the Epic Games Store integration they did awhile ago....
At least you can already try it, it’s on EA on Epic store, and from what I saw trough streams, it’s already a worthy successor despite not being complete.
It’s the same game fundamentally, but improved and properly modernized in everyway.
Do you find open source games interesting/good thing as a gamer?
@games I am a game developer working on game called Mushy Score. I decided that my niche would be to create open source games. I think these could be helpful for developers or teachers to teach about games and how they are made. Most open source games are small game jam games, but there are few “real games” that are open source like 0 A.D. and Doom. As a non-developer do you think open source games could be good thing?

I recently played Alien Isolation, and I noticed all of the “hacking” she does on doors and computers are different types of games, like press the button at the right time, or match the images within a timer, etc....
What I mean is… sometimes people are very loyal to a videogame franchise or a company because they loved a game they released years ago (Silent Hill/Konami with Silent Hill 2, Blizzard/Bethesda with their respective golden eras, some could argue this happens too with Pokémon and Final Fantasy, etc). Ethical/consumer reasons...

What's an absolutely medium quality game? Not great, incredible or terrible or any single ended extreme. Dead medium quality
