Creating awareness through outreach is one of the most important bits about protests. There needs to be a critical mass of people that are fed up in order to create a smaller bunch of people that will move in action.

That’s how grass roots campainging works. People with such a huge amount of followers are critical to mobilize more people. For every one person to actively join a protest many more must be reached.

For me the second was more emotionally important. That small bit of opera when you get on the lift still can move me to tears.

007 First Light – Gameplay Reveal (www.youtube.com)

This could just be the vestiges of E3’s ghost creating a bad demo, but I was pretty unimpressed by this. If Hitman allowed you to be as freeform as Crysis, this demo looked like Crysis 2, highlighting all the specific options that they crafted for you to use, and there are only maybe three of them rather than allowing you to...

is this more a fight between random internet strangers?

I think the traditional way of settling this is a meme duel.

If they force you to buy the items they are, by definition, necessary (in context of the game that is).

But are there actually games that do this? Mostly they give you the tokens needed for free to goad you into playing the game ‘for free’ and extort you later on as the game gets increasingly unplayable without buying the stuff.

As Gamers Express Concern About Borderlands 4 Potentially Costing $80, Gearbox Chief Randy Pitchford Says: ‘If You’re a Real Fan, You’ll Find a Way to Make It Happen’ (www.ign.com)

The video game industry has made the jump to $80, first with Nintendo and Mario Kart World, then with Microsoft and its price hike announcement that will kick in this holiday season. Could Borderlands 4 follow suit?...

I’ve only ever bought the first one, got the rest for free. I generally like the gun play idea but my interest always fizzles out due to the ‘humor’ and getting caught in a too high level well… Level and deciding to give up.

Comfy is s good irl stat. Warmth as well.

In my language it even gives a buff for pickpocketing: ‘wear good clothes, they will open all doors’ is a saying.

Valve?

I’d say indie should be a smaller company, not one of the industry pillars.

But it’s arguable, their style is different, to say the least.

Why not LARP it?

Going to a big tf2 LAN in England and watching the games with a crowd of people that shared in the love for that game.

Made me realize for the first time why some people obsess over sports.

I’ve got close to 5000 hrs in tf2. By far my most played game ever

‘Alarm, ein verletzter’ - Commando

There was this fun game a while back where you played as the janitor of a shooting game location. You’d have to clean up all the gibs and mop up the blood etc.

Pretty fun concept

Yup that’s it!

Thnx for looking it up

Your mileage may vary. It’s not in the hakarl/sürstomming region of bad smells.

I need some extra information on step 4. I’m kind of needy of others’ perceived opinion on me and convinced that ‘number go up’ will convince people of the quality of my ideas.

As such I want to inflate my imaginary numbers, with as little effort as possible. So doing steps one through three is too much hassle.

Where could I aquire me a bunch of upclicks to fill my empty husk of a soul?

I played TF2 since beta. I’ve played competitive (nothing major, just etf2l div 3) and been to a couple of lans. I have about 3000 hrs logged.

My mains are demo, soldier and scout. Heavy and spy I rarely play. I still hop on every now and then, on a community server that’s still going strong.

New Details on Valve's New Game 'Deadlock' - Insider Gaming (insider-gaming.com)

As already leaked, the game is a 6v6 third-person hero-based shooter. Heroes include magicians, robots, creatures, humans, and more. There are currently 19 different heroes, each with different abilities and playstyles that you’d come to expect from a MOBA including ranged, healers, tanks, assassins, etc....

Akasazh,
@Akasazh@feddit.nl avatar

Pouring resources does not equate quality, there’s no new idea here. They try a overwatch like game when their IP contains the most successful hero shooter out there.

really popular with the MOBA crowd

They tend to play non shooter mobas, you know, like dota. Why try to compete with your own ip?

It reeks of poor design choice, jus like artifact, and no amount of money will fix that.

Akasazh,
@Akasazh@feddit.nl avatar

The idea is not very exciting. I’m hoping to be proved wrong, I really am.

Akasazh,
@Akasazh@feddit.nl avatar

Ok you’ve got me with Monday night combat, I hope to be proven wrong tbh, it’s a sliver of hope and I won’t join the bandwagon.

GTA 4 was already a step down. Like with the Matrix not having sequels joke, I will forever regret that rockstar didn’t make any GTA after San Andreas.

Akasazh,
@Akasazh@feddit.nl avatar

I can get with that. For me 4 was kind of ok, but I’m terms of humor and gameplay some cracks started showing. The story didn’t grab me and the return to a single city, where Andreas seemed endless was a bit disappointing.

So for me it marks the beginning of the end, however it’s was not a bad game at all.

Akasazh,
@Akasazh@feddit.nl avatar

Yup Andreas’ map was so very cleverly put together. It felt way bigger than it actually was. 5 is rather big, yet bland in comparison.

Akasazh,
@Akasazh@feddit.nl avatar

So you’d say you’re waiting for Godot…

… To become s success?
