I don’t see what people have against Epic, they’re just another company running a storefront, right? Or are they union busters or something?
Any competition that can take on Stream’s monopoly is good, it’s been a long time coming.
You might think Steam are the good guys because they don’t abuse their customers yet, but all good things come to an end, eventually. A company with their level of monopolistic grasp doesn’t remain benign forever.
Valve is a private company so Gabe doesn’t have anyone breathing down his neck to grow endlessly not matter the costs. Also epic refuses to add any half decent consumer features along with buying exclusivity to their platform. Sweeney is also extremely anti linux so why would I give him money.
Steam is pretty good, in many ways. … … There is a little bit of customer abuse creeping in though. It annoys me that I can’t turn off the “what’s new” panel. It’s nothing more than an advertisement panel, and the only options are to say ‘show less’ for individual games, one by one (and even then, it doesn’t stop showing advertisements related to those games).
In any case, I don’t use Epic’s launcher at all; so I won’t try to comment on which is better. I just think it’s good to point out that Steam isn’t perfect, and I agree that competition probably does them some good.
I really hope they patch some of the bugs then because otherwise it's gonna be unplayable. I have to use the remove glitch mod since my save got bugged after the glitch effect got stuck permanently on my character after a convo with Johnny.
Quite certain Payday 3 could have been higher if it had better executive choices like I don’t know, an offline mode, so that it’s no today after 4 days that people can start to have some servers that are about good. Emphasis on About
@realcaseyrollins Regardless, the developers are now increasingly wary about "their" tools not being truly theirs anymore. Same goes for most of the infrastructure they rely on - social media, storage, distribution, the tools they use to design their assets with...
Its an open world first person shooter but with magic instead of guns, it happens in a Shibuya where all the humans have banished and the city is taken over by spirits/yokai both good and bad and the protagonist has to find its sister while posessed by a spirit that has his own goals but at the same time is what gives him powers, all around the story is simple but decent but the open world and lore is where it shines, a lot of missions where you get to know classic japanese folklore and help spirits trapped in this world for a reason or another. All around i enjoyed my time with it and the “gunplay” is pretty decent after the free dlc that they added when the game was released on gamepass which added a side ability to all three different guns/powers.
No problem! It didnt get the best reception when it was released as it was a sony exclusive that didnt get much marketing at first, but its a nice experience all around and if you decide to go for the story it doesnt overstay its welcome and if you have gamepass you can play it there as i did, so glad i made it interesting for you!
I had just never heard anyone speak about it, the premise and Japanese mythology already interest me, and it's developed by Tango, the studio ran by Shinji Mikami, so I'm definitely interested to check it out (though I know he's not directly involved, it lends a pedigree to their studio, to me.)
Oh my… I gasped when I saw another Code, and gasped even more when they announced the sequel was included in the remake. Best day ever, I had kept my old Wii to play this game with my daughter but I won’t even need that anymore !
Neat, I think we all know it’s not really in development as much as waiting for a date written on a contract. But more people having access to games is good
