I play on Homecoming. I played the original and it is the only MMO at the time I had high level characters. It was just a blast. I recreated my main in Homecoming. Dark masiama/ psych healer. I was never without a group. I just hovered behind the tank and kept them toped up and buffed. I also played Champions and even have a lifetime membership but it does not match City of Heroes. The only thing I would like is for Homecoming to add some sort of group voice chat.
I like no voice chat, but I have had absolutely horrible times with voice chats.
My main character was a scrapper martial artist. I just mostly remember I managed to make her covered with clothes from head to toe and shrouded in shadows. “What was that blur of smoke?” one might ask. “It’s me! Here to punch!” nyoom nyoom was my living. And punching.
I dunno about the tax laws here. Seems anything purchased in game with fake game money that stays in game shouldn’t be subject to a sales tax. Buying game currency with real currency? Sure. Buying real things by selling in-game accounts or items for real money? Fine.
I’ll say it here again, i have an 7900xtx i expect it to run silky smooth.
If it doesn’t, that’s on you brother.
I also play on 1440p and it doesn’t reach a well enough framerate at ultra settings, i set it on high and adjusted some things to lower settings to get a better framerate.
Unpacking is a great game because of the storytelling. This seems promising but unless it has a similar ability to weave a narrative then it won’t be to fun to play.
Maybe make dialogue between “Find the dwemer puzzle box, it’s… uhhh… somewhere” and “GO [fast travel] TO PLACE X, KILL Y IN ROOM NUMBER 6 AND DONT FORGET TO COME BACK WITH THE EVIL SWORD OF DARKNESS [automatically picked up by your character] [a yellow marker appears on your minimap and field of view, with a magic trail leading you to the quest location]”
They have made one Warhammer game, Rogue Trader. It is a party based, turn based, RPG based upon a tabletop RPG ruleset. It’s quite good, though I admit that I play it on story mode difficulty cause I can’t be bothered to learn another RPG system right now, and idgaf about build crafting. With that being said, it’s a positively ENORMOUS game, with extraordinary amounts of optional content to interact with. If you go on expecting Space Marine 2, or Dawn of War, you’re likely going to be very upset. However, if you are prepared for something which apes the old Infinity Engine games of the 90s, or games inspired by the same, such as Pillars of Eternity, you’ll likely enjoy yourself.
I backed it right there in the beginning. I don’t even have access to my account anymore and I stopped caring. Star Citizen will always live in infamy, as this bizarre project that turned into some cult-like abomination and will just run ad infinitum until either the money runs out or the sun swallows earth.
