TheDarksteel94,

It’s alright, but I couldn’t get through it. It just was lol. Travel between quests took too long and the desert is not that interesting to me personally. Parcour was shallow and I hated the combat and progression systems.

I loved almost all of the old school style AC games, but they started to drop off after the Ezio trilogy. 3, Black Flag, Unity and Syndicate were fine, but they just didn’t quite have the same charm or were lacking in other areas. Still had a fun time with Black Flag and Syndicate.

TheDarksteel94,

I agree. Someone said some time ago that players should be able to recognize characters by their silhouette alone. That’s definitely not the case here.

Do you know any singleplayer games that are infinitely replayable? angielski

I recently booted up Half-Life 2 to replay it. I have played the absolute shit out of this game before, so 60% of it just feels like a drag to me now. It was such an amazing game but it’s sort of spoiled for me after I’ve played it too much....

TheDarksteel94,

Honestly, Skyrim. With so many great mods available these days, you can literally turn it into a whole different game. And with modpacks on Nexus, Wabbajack or similar sites, it’s easier than ever. I’m just getting back into it myself after 3 years, but I’m still a big fan of getting into the nitty gritty of it and configuring everything myself.

TheDarksteel94,

The prequel had mostly orks in the beginning, but they sprinkled in some other enemies later on. So I assume they’ll do something similar here.

TheDarksteel94,

It doesn’t bring up any issues to record people for moderation purposes, if it’s in the Terms of Service of whatever service/game you’re using. Agreeing to the ToS is a form of contract. CoD’s voice chat, for example, is already monitored and recorded.

Also, as voice recognition with AI is getting better, so will the effectiveness of those moderation tools. Not just in terms of speed but also in terms of cost.

TheDarksteel94,

Well, there aren’t. If people sign a contract and aren’t aware of what it says, that’s their own problem. And gaming is a commodity, so it’s not like you HAVE to sign that contract if you disagree with it. Just don’t play the game then.

TheDarksteel94,

Okay, I’ll bite. How are all of those the same?

TheDarksteel94,

Isn’t that more of a problem with game design in general though? I’d argue if you’re going with just that example then Rage 2 is the same as most MMOs. Go here, kill things, go back and deliver items, etc. Also, how are those two games similar to Just Cause or Mad Max?

TheDarksteel94,

That, and probably a lot of untreated and undiagnosed mental health issues. Honestly, I think guns are pretty cool (from a mechanical standpoint) but I would never even want to own one irl or kill anything with one. 'Cause, you know, I’m somewhat sane.

TheDarksteel94,

Do you think it’s bad? I’ve only heard good things about it 🤔

TheDarksteel94,

Ah, so it’s more like the vibe of it for you, I guess? I kinda get that.
